Kurt and team did a fabulous job creating a Patio and fenced Garden area, in addition to laying a foundation for our future Greenhouse. They were polite, efficient and very thorough in the installation and clean up of our project. Additionally, the estimate provided was very accurate, and allowed for tweaking during installation. We just had the pleasure of enjoying a fire on our new Patio for New Year's Eve. Thanks Kurt and team, we look forward to working with you on our next project!

Our backyard needed a complete overhaul - removal of a rotting wood retaining wall, regrading and resodding the entire back and side yard, and building it all back again with a new retaining wall and interlock patio. Kurt's quote was competitive with others we received and he took the time to understand what we wanted for the space. We were confident moving forward given the commitment and attention to detail he pays to each project and are so glad we chose Distinctive Designs for ours! Kurt ordered our chosen pavers well in advance (they wouldn't have been available if he hadn't had the foresight to do so), he was onsite every day which meant he was always accessible if we had any questions (we rarely did as he proactively told us what he'd be doing and why), and he gave us lots of ideas and his opinions without ever being pushy (there were a couple instances he steered us away from potential options because he felt it wouldn't be good value for our money). Kurt's crew is also amazing. They are punctual, hard working and so polite. All of our neighbours commented on the quality of the work, how clean the site was left each day, and how friendly the crew was. I highly recommend Kurt and the crew from Distinctive Designs and look forward to working with them on future projects!

We hired Kurt and his team to replace our old interlocked walkways, front porch and driveway. Kurt and his team provided great service at a reasonable price and made the entire experience pleasant and stress free. Kurt was extremely professional and very quick to respond when we had any questions or concerns. It was obvious that he wanted to ensure we were completely satisfied with the finished project. We were extremely pleased with the end result and have had many compliments on the work.

I am extremely happy I hired Distinctive Designs Landscaping for this project. Kurt and the crew have done a wonderful job and I am very grateful. The project threw a ‘curveball’ during demolition but Kurt offered up a couple of solutions, mindful of the original estimate and took the time to explain everything. The crew on site were extremely hard working and the job site was left spotless at the end of each day. A very impressive company and I would have no hesitation in recommending DDL to anyone who asks.

Great experience working with the team at Distinctive Designs from the start, when Kurt was helping me figure out the design, to finish. I learned of Kurt through a colleague who had hired his company the year prior. I had reviewed the work and was impressed with the results. Kurt met with my wife and I a few times and came up with an excellent design. We had an old deck and wanted to replace it with an interlock patio and gazebo. We also wanted two garden beds and a new fence. Kurt and his team showed up on time each day, cleaned up, and were very professional. We wanted to keep a few trees in the backyard, and Kurt came up with an excellent layout to make this happen. The project was completed on time (to the amazement of my neighbour) and another neighbour remarked that he was really impressed by how thoroughly the work area was cleaned up after the completion of the project. We are very happy with Kurt’s work and will hire his company again to work on the front of our home.

After an extensive search, we selected Distinctive Designs Landscaping to work on the design and landscaping of the entire exterior of our newly renovated home. The project included backyard grading and landscaping, flagstone patio design and installation, multi-level planters, custom stonework fire pit, flagstone driveway and fencing. We cannot say enough about Kurt and his professionalism, creativity, high quality workmanship, attention to detail and customer service. He was very easy to work with, had great ideas and completed the job on time and on budget. His team was also very professional and respectful of our property. Kurt and his crew just finished work on my backyard patio. I love it! He worked within my budget, with no surprises. The job site was left clean and tidy at the end of each day. His crew of young individuals were polite and incredibly hard workers. Every thing was put back onto the patio and my backyard and driveway were left clean when the job was finished. Half way through the project after we saw some of the results of his suggestions, we knew that his option would give us a result that we would be happy with. The crew cleaned up the staging area at the end of each day. When the project was finished the work site was completely cleaned, which included power washing the driveway and removed any and all construction material.
