    Home inspection

    Needed a home inspection done quickly and thoroughly. Went out of his way (literally drove 3 hours to do it) and to meet our timeline. Was very pleased with the thoroughness of the inspection. Would highly recommend his services to my friends and family. Would definitely use again.

    New Home Inspection

    Egbert was a professional, came on time and answeredfine questions when more information was asked. Being a new home there was not much to report as such, but he was thorough in his inspection and provided requested information post report immediately.

    home inspection

    I have viewed several house inspections in the past, and this is by far the best I have ever seen. It systematically went through all the components of the house and identified major concerns, safety issues, improvements needed, etc. The final report came out the day after the inspection and was easy to understand.

    Thanks for putting my mind at ease over the purchase of my new home. It was to know that someone was able to give me confirmation that the house was in great shape with only mild concerns to address. Thanks again for the fast friendly service.     Home Inspection

    DO NOT HIRE EGBERT You will regret it unless your pockets are deep - Quotes from his meeting are as follows. 1. "My only guarantee is that I missed something" 2. " I don't nit pick about things, therefore I will be leaving that out of the report" 3. " Yes you did hire me, however I don't want to piss off anyone in this small industry therefore I will be omitting that from the report" As a fellow contractor, I was extremely disappointed in the services provided by Egbert. Several major items were missed and I had to bring them to his attention. So far he missed improper wiring for underground application ( That failed after an electrical inspector came out to look at it {5K to repair}- also Egbert looked at it and said nothing) He also missed a leak in the roof that has cost around 15k in damages - so far) He ignored a leaking duct in the closed off ceiling which caused the drywall to pick up moisture and bow down ( cost is unknown but quotes are around 5K - 8K) Once again if you hire someone to do a job for you, they should not omit any information, they should be looking out for you, they should be aware of local codes and diligent. Egbert - you could have saved me 25K+ in repairs that would have been avoided if you did your job. Very disappointed. Your better off putting the 500 toward repairs on your house then to hire this guy.

    Home Inspection

    I found Egbert's contact information on HomeStars and based on the reviews, decided to have him complete our Home Inspection. His top reviews doesn't quite do him justice. His report and level of professionalism is of a very high standard. His ability to explain current and potential concerns with our home has given us a high level of comfort in what to expect in the next few years. As new home buyers, we appreciated his level of patience, his thoroughness and ability to communicate his thoughts from room to room. His jokes weren't half bad as well. Highly recommended for his professionalism and customer service.

    Home inspection

    Egbert was fantastic. He spent 4 hours going through the house with impressive detail, explaining everything he noticed and answering all my questions as we went. He did not miss anything. Highly recommend.

    I have used Egbert twice for home inspections. Very thorough and offers insight over and above a typical inspection. Friendly, courteous and a pleasure to do business with a true professional. Highly recommend.

    This company was referred to me by my real estate agent. He gave good advice. If someone needed a home inspector I would give his name.It was a good job.

    home inspection

    He gave me some good advice on a property with a bad foundation. He saved me from getting stuck with something that needed a lot of work. He had a good price too.

    That foundation was an ugly inspection! A wet cold dirt crawlspace we expected but the holes and extra washout were more than you bargained for. Glad to have helped you learn more about the property before you invested.
