I purchased a New Sony 55 inch 900 EE TV from open box in Surrey. Gordon the manager spent considerable amount of time helping me reset the settings for the TV, also subsequent calls. The service I received was exceptional and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend buying at Open Box and receive the savings. ( Savings $600 )

I ordered a power supply to repair my TV after searching on-line. The part was shipped to me and received in a timely manner. After installing the part & having the same issue (the power light blinking but the TV won't come on), I requested a return authorization. I took care to wrapped the power supply board in bubble wrap and even more plastic than when received. I also sent it back in the same box it came in. I wanted to ensure it did not get damaged. I never heard back from the company and never received a refund. After several emails, I called. I was told that they had emailed me back to tell me that board was chipped. I explained that was not possible due to the care I took in returning it. I advised that I never received an email. (I checked while I was on the line, also checked the spam folder, no email). The guy said he would send pictures and that I would need to file a claim with the postal service. I'm sure they realized that I did not ensure the package because due to the way I packed it, there was no way it could've gotten damaged. (I would like to add that I had a job previously where I was responsible to pack & ship items so I know what I am doing.) In closing, I am not happy and would not recommend getting anything from them. I am out of over $70 which is a lot to me. Deanna

STAY AWAY!!!! They will take your money and run. Everything looks amazing in the store as they run all their TV's on VIVID mode with bright colours playing Avatar. Once you get it home and play a movie in the dark you will realize its plagued with cloudy white blobs. Good luck swapping it for that. A year later white dots all over the screen that they claim are all normal within LED LCD specs for these TV's. Just remember people these TV's were returned from consumers for a reason... AVOID THEM!

We needed a new tv and it was suggested we try Open Box. The store is bare bones and I think they need more service people; however, regardless of time required before we got waited on, we received good service. The guy was pleasant although rushed and assisted with packing the large tv into our vehicle. The prices were excellent. My only concern was the fact that when we got it home and out of the box the backing of the remote was missing. When I called to get a replacement I was told there weren't any. But, nevertheless, the price more than outweighed the deficiencies in the service.

Stay away! Will not honor warranty. I am bringing my 1 year old 55" Samsung smart tv to recycle tomorrow as it is junk. Spend a few extra dollars and purchase from an APPROVED Samsung dealer. Read the small print on the bottom of their website.

Terrible dishonest Company to deal with. Once they get your money you will never see it back even if they do not have the similar item to replace it with. You are forced to pick another item from the store even if there is nothing in there that you want. They say 'Sorry we are not refunding you pick something else from the store' They keep going back on their word or different staff give you a different story. They are so dishonest but will make you feel like you are the dishonest one. The said "all their customers are like that" i.e. dishonest so if you buy from them - this is what they think of you.

The resell in Coquitlam is a very good service store. All my friends are bought the TV from the Coquitlam store and tell me the manager Jimmy is a very nice and good servcices guy. When I first time to buy the Sharp 60" LED in his store. He help me to check TV and tell me what is included for the warranty service. He want the customer to make sure the TV is no physical damages and contents missing before put in the box and tape it. When I pay the money and sing the invoice. The manager aslo remind me again to make sure I knew the TV is no physical damages and contents missing when I check the TV then sing the invoice. He also remind me to carry the TV have to be very careful. Because once the TV left the store then they will not respond TV damages if any damages by the customer during the transportation. I am very appreciate his services. I will go for shopping again and tell all my friends to buy the TV from Coquitlam. Thank you Jimmy. The TV you introduce to me is a very good TV.

I think this is a great store if you are looking to buy a cheap, quality TV. I bought 2 TV's so far. 32inch LCD TV, and 50 inch LED TV. Although they do not accept returns, I had no problem with the TV's. They were in perfect working condition and looked brand new.

First of all if you are going to shop opebox do not go to top tech computers reseller just go directly to openbox. Bestbuy prices are just a bit more and you get better warranty. I went to top tech in coquitlam the owner Jimmy sold me a tv and forgot to dismantle the stand in the box which rotated and broke the glass screen on the way home I took it back and he gave me a store credit to order another one the next day he changed his ind and refused to give me another tv then I went directly to openbox surrey which they gave me another tv but a week later they couldnt get their money from Jimmy so i had to return that tv so two store credits later and broken promises now I went ahead and fixed the screen and ended up paying full price for it at retail. Stick to big department store or shop online through mazon way better deals and no hassles and misleading information,

We shopped for a TV that was both inexpensive and good quality. We heard about OpenBox from a friend who had bought 3 TV's there, so we decided to check it out. There were a good number for TV's and other electronics available for sale. They were out of their original boxes, but almost all items looked brand new. A very helpful sales person helped us pick out a 46" LED TV that was a few hundred dollars less than its brand new counterpart. I would come back to OpenBox again and would also recommend this place to others.
