    Washer repair

    When the washer on our stackable washer/dryer combo started to vibrate wildly when it went into a spin cycle, I knew it was time to get help. After checking HomeStars, I decided to call North Durham Appliance. Right from my first conversation with the lady in the office to the completion of the repair, I was very impressed with this company. Within a couple of days of my call, they had sent out a repairman who quickly diagnosed the problem. Both shocks on our 16-year-old washer were broken. He gave us a reasonable quote for the parts and repair and advised it would take a couple of days for the parts to come in. But he assured us that they would come back as soon as they got them. Within a week of my first call to their office, our wash was repaired. The knowledge, politeness and professionalism of everyone ensured us that we had found the company that we would be dealing with for any future appliance repairs.

    Dishwasher repair

    Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. On time and quick service. My dishwasher was stopped working suddenly, the repair staff from North Durham appliances repaired it within minutes due to their extensive knowledge and experience.

    Professionals

    I used North Durham Appliance on two separate occasions to inspect and repair two different washing machines at a rental property I own. These guys were professional, dependable, reasonably priced, but most importantly got the job done. I would highly recommend them. Thanks, Mike

    Washer and dryer repair

    Oven repair

    Submitted repair request to North Durham Appliance online and was able to book appointment quickly. Lucas called early in the morning to confirm time of service and he was on time and did a proficient job fixing our oven. Great service overall.

    Washing machine repair

    My issue was diagnosed over the phone by Kerri who was very professional and helpful. I sent her the model number of my machine and made an appointment. The tech arrived with the correct part and had it repaired in about 15 minutes! He tested the machine and took the time to explain what the concern was. Excellent service once again!! Thank you!!

    Washer/Dryer

    Another amazing experience with North Durham Appliance. Kevin is great, so knowledgeable and patient. Both were assessed and fixed quickly. I would recommend them to anyone who needs service of appliances in the area!

    Fridge repair

    Fridge was not working - Kevin from North Durham Appliance called back quickly and scheduled a timely repair. Parts were ordered quickly and installed immediately. Kevin was very friendly and knowledeable - he had no trouble diagnosing the problem and installing the fan motor. Would definitely recommend!

    Fridge Repair

    We had a plugged drain that caused ice built up and water on bottom of 4 year old Kitchen Aid fridge. I made an appointment with North Durham Appliance for the repair, since I wanted a morning appointment I had to wait 48 hours which was fine with me as in my mind it was not an emergency situation. The tech Chris called prior to showing up and was at the house within one hour. He did his job while answering my questions and was very easy to talk with. Chris took care of the job site making sure our flooring or counter top would avoid damage. Chris asked me if I was given a quote when I made an appointment, I didn't ask for one and didn't receive one I just knew a repair was needed. Chris gave me the price of the part and the labour charge breakdown; total price was reasonable for part and the time spent. This company was recommended from the store that we bought our appliances from in 2012 and to my surprise it was a top rated company on Home Stars.

    Washer machine repair

    My washer started to leak so called north Durham appliance by chance. The support on the phone was great and even apologized for not making same day service which I wasn't expecting. Chris on the team was at my house first thing in the am, reviewed the analysis within 25 minutes and ordered the part immediately. He level set me that the team was scheduled through the next day and he would see what could be done next day when part arrived. Followed next day and the team really came together to get my part installed. Being without a washer with four kids all weekend would have been chaos so thanks north Durham appliance for your help today.
