Monkey Tree Services crew thinned and trimmed our four cedars on June 9, 2017, and later on June 16 for some follow up by request. We’re happy to have chosen them to deal with our trees that have overgrown to neighbor’s side, and had scary incident of a huge branch fallen onto the pedestrian walkway this past winter.
The company enjoyed fairly good online reviews, and we’re inclined to use them, being a BBB company. We spoke to over dozens of tree professionals before coming to a decision. Scott, their Certified Arborist, was the only two who correctly pointed out one of our trees could not be removed according to city bylaw. I took the time to go to the City of Vancouver to verify, and found out that the City also used them as well.
First day of work was efficient and smooth. Clean up was thorough. Joe and Colin were professional, friendly and helpful. When we needed some more follow-up, the company responded promptly.
The staff were understanding and accommodating to first time residential customer like us. I will recommend the company to my friends. In fact, my adjacent neighbor and my mom’s friend already obtained their contact regarding tree issues that they or their relatives have. We are happy to have chosen Monkey Tree Services Ltd. that has given us peace of mind because of their professionalism. We will go back to them for future tree works.
