My church, Pilgrim Church, recently hired Monkey Tree Services to trim some of the trees on our property, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. From the start, their communication was excellent. They promptly answered all our inquiries, gave us a clear outline of what to expect, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. The team was professional, punctual, and efficient. They handled the job with care and attention to detail, leaving the property in immaculate condition. It was evident that they take pride in their work and value customer satisfaction. We highly recommend Monkey Tree Services for anyone in need of tree trimming or maintenance. Tree Pruning
We had 3 40 year old cedar trees thinned which allowed an amazing amount more light into our back yard. They asked every step of the way how we wanted it to go and clean up went well. We spent 6 hours with a very talented charming crew looking after us. We have used them at least 6 times over the years for major pruning and some removal in the past.

Work done for an obsessive-compulsive architect
In recent years Monkey Tree Services Ltd. has worked on my Vancouver property three times. On each occasion the crew arrived when scheduled; the work was done efficiently; and the clean-up was thorough. My property includes two rows of trees - beeches and hornbeams - planted perpendicular to one another against intersecting property lines. These trees I like pruned to form 'hedges on sticks'. The Monkey Tree crew did this work with great enthusiasm, pruning so that all was plumb and level ( and not severing adjacent Hydro cables which has been done by other tree pruners in earlier times ). I also have in my garden a 100 year old and very tall cypress tree. This required significant work to tidy it up. Again, this work was done with great precision. In conclusion I cannot recommend Monkey Tree Services highly enough.

Seth and his team at Monkey Tree are very reasonable, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. We have been using their services for over 10 years. Highly recommend.

Saving a Western Red Cedar
I wish to thank Seth for his excellent assistance. Three years ago, our backyard had a large (~5' diameter) Western Red Cedar that was clearly dying. I contacted 6 arborists to attend and give me advice on how to save the tree. The first 5 were of no help. I was about to give up and let the tree die. When Seth came, he quickly (within minutes) correctly diagnosed the problem and directed me on how to fix the problem. Seth then followed up in subsequent visits and assisted me in bringing in another firm to remediate the issue. Now, three years later, the tree is clearly healthier with significant new growth each season. My deepest thanks goes to Seth for his expertise and assistance in saving our Red Cedar. Harry

Amazing job! Can recommend without hesitation.
We absolutely were 100% satisfied with the work by Monkey Tree Services. When they came to assess the property for the quote, I was impressed by the care Joel took when we walked around our property. We had a few trouble spots which he was happy to discuss with me and was able make helpful observations and suggestions. We had another different company that came to do a quote but they refused to discuss anything with me they seemed disinterested and simply said for a property like this we would send a crew for 2 hours, $4000 with no details of what they would actually be doing. When Shawn from Monkey Tree Services came with the crew to do the job, they were prompt, pleasant, respectful, efficient, did an excellent job, and they cleaned up amazingly well afterwards! I also very much appreciated them leaving the wood chips as I had asked, to use as mulch under some trees. I really feel they went above and beyond. They exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely call them again and would recommend them to everyone without hesitation.

Design build and maintenace
I have used Monkey Tree a subcontractor in my work as Garden designer and installer for over 20 years. Whether I need help with tree assessments, city permits or ongoing maintenance Monkey Tree as always been prompt, communicative and professional allowing me to provide excellent service to my clients.

Trim or Remove Trees, Shrubs or Hedges
Monkey Tree did not do the job. We did not have really tall trees, we were referred to Rakes & Ladders. The job was done. Thank you.

Excellent communication and Quality work
I contacted Monkey Tree Services to come and provide a solution to a couple of large trees next to my home that I was worried about possibly causing damage if they fell. The office staff were quick and easy to communicate with and there was no wait to have someone at my house to take a look at my problem and explain the process of the work. I scheduled the work with them and was extremely happy with the quickness of the job completion as well as how clean my yard was left after they finished. I would definitely recommend Monkey Tree Services to anyone looking for arborist work.
