    Tree pruning/trimming

    The people at Monkey Tree, from the very first email communication, were “on it” as I had a deadline to meet due to construction of a new fence on my property. Initially they came to my home to provide an estimate for which I gave the go ahead. Some days later the crew showed up, I of course asked, “hey can you cut here, can you trim this, what do you think I should do here?” etc.... Long story short they did the estimated work plus all of my requested extras. Of course it cost me a bit more but not near what I was quietly calculating in my head. I happily paid. The crew were professional, friendly, quick and left my property cleaner than when they started. I recommend them without hesitation.

    Professional, effcient, extremely pleasant

    From the first contact to follow up, I was very impressed with Monkey Tree Services. I would highly recommend working with them and I would use them again if needed.

    Monkey Tree - great customer service!

    Scott and his crew were really great to work with. He was professional, prompt, and did exactly what we asked! Our backyard looks amazing and the shaping he did on our fig tree looks perfect. We look forward to having him back next year for spring pruning and tree tidy-up.

    stump grinding

    Friendly, polite and honest. The worker came on time. Good safety practice, and paid attention not to cause damage to the property due to the work. Machinery used in good condition and effective. Two stumps grinded in 2 hours. Job done neat and tidy. Efficient and professional. Least interruption to the customer. Invoicing is clean and clear. The only drawback to me is: only accept cheque or e-transfer. I prefer paying by credit card.

    Tree pruning

    Monkey Tree Services did an excellent job in pruning my spruce tree. The crews are friendly and polite. Even though I already paid the company, just one phone call and Seth immediately sent his crew to come the next day first thing in the morning to follow up. The estimate is clear and professional and the price is reasonable. I am happy with their services and I will recommend the company to everyone .

    Pruning of large dogwood adjacent to house

    We have a large dogwood adjacent to our house. It drops a lot of leaves which stain the front steps; it shades the roof and helps moss grow; and it is too close to the house and especially right on top of the sewer drain. So we called Monkey Tree Services to ask them to come and take a look with the idea of removing it. They gently but firmly advised us that getting a permit to remove that tree, despite the problems it creates, was going to be well-nigh impossible with the City of Vancouver, and suggested that they trim it away from the roof to at least address the roof maintenance issue. We thought it over and decided to proceed. They came when they said they would; they did a great job of the trimming and cleanup; nothing was dropped on the house; and generally we could not be more satisfied. A big shout out to Monkey Tree Services.

    Excellent Everything

    Removed a diseased tree, ground up the stump, smoothed out the hole, removed all the debris and cleaned up well. Saved some wood that could be salvaged for charity. Even had time for an extra job at the end of the day. Protected our property and other trees and plants from any damage. Excellent work, excellent service, excellent technicians, excellent result. If you need work done, THESE GUYS are THE GUYS.

    Outstanding Service and Follow-up

    What a great company! They were recommended to me by people in the know and they did a great job in completing an Arborist Report that I needed to add to the survey that I had done. They were quick and efficient. While they were on-site, I asked them to please give me a quote for a tree that I had that was splitting down the middle, I received a quote promptly and they completed the work quickly and professionally. The tree was secured effectively and it put the work that my landscapers had done the years before to shame! They are great! The cost is for bracing the tree.

    Excellent work and exceptional service

    The work and services provided by Scott and crew of Monkey Tree Services were exceptional. They provided us with a free estimate and responded to our numerous questions. Their on-site work was professional and efficient, and accommodated to our special needs. We will choose Monkey Tree Services again in the future and will recommend them to family and friends.

    Spruce tree removal

    A team of 5 from Monkey Tree Services removed a large, 50-year old Spruce in our front yard today, and we couldn't be more pleased with the way the work was performed, and with the outcome. The team arrived on time, worked efficiently and competently, was fun to watch, and cleaned the site up well. The tree was close to our house and a neighboring property, yet, there was never a concern today that any damage would be caused because of how professionally the team was, securing each branch before cutting it. Upon removal, they chopped the tree up into firewood, and even carted it into our backyard. Thank you! We highly recommend this company for any tree work, especially challenging removals.
