    Moving from Montreal to Mississauga

    It was my first moving so after a lot of search, calls, reviews here and other online resources, I landed on Greenland Van lines for better ranking and all the comforting reviews here so I am reporting back my experience to help others. Customer on-boarding was nice, specially the way 'Samantha'sales representative elaborated, communicated and offered the discounts. No issues at all during initial phase. One guy came in to help with the estimation of the weight. The team of 2 people arrived on time to pick up stuff for 1-bedroom apartment home in Montreal. The guys gave me a jolt by saying if they wrap furniture in their blankets, they are not responsible for the damage and if I want the full protection I should opt for plastic sheets instead which was new for me. I asked them to go ahead with the plastic sheets but called back the office which didn't specify anything like this in contract. They were comforting and handled the issue as not charging for it though TV packing was another case where if they don't pack they wont be responsible and for them to pack it will be 50$ extra which I agreed. However, the guys were quick and equipped so took the stuff in 2.5 hours. Next day on delivery in Mississauga, I had a different team of 2 people. They arrived a little late but I was not in hurry either so overall good. They handled the stuff with care except damaged a headboard which I have claimed and yet to receive claim after 2 weeks. Other than that everything reached fine. They took care in bringing items int he new place like using blankets on the carpeted floor and putting them in the room we asked for. The payment was done on phone via credit card so kind of convenient as some others asked for bank draft or cash which was not good for me. In short, I would say good experience with them but would be better to clarify the things I mentioned above like wrapping of furniture & claim handling in case of damage. Otherwise, we were happy that all other items reached in time and in one piece.

    Move from Toronto to Vancouver

    Overall I am very satisfied with Greenlands handling of my move from Toronto to Vancouver. My goods arrived in virtually perfect condition thanks to some extremely diligent packers in Toronto. Great work!

As soon as wehave received your missing items list on January 23, 12, we were able to locate all of the items and the found items were shipped to Vancouver right way on January 27, 12. You were advised that it will take 7 to 10 days from Toronto, ON to reach Vancouver, BC According to our records and your missing item list, Mountain bike, - Tires x 2 (two arrived, two didn't)- Queen size matress (ONE ARRIVED, one didn't, but the box spring arrived for the missing one), Big outdoor vase - Picture / Mirror boxes - Shopping cart - Aluminum step ladder (6 feet), Metal shelves Exercise / Workout bench - Exercise weight stand were reported missing. Nevertheless, all of the above items have been found. Only one item, which is step ladder, is still in transit and we'll coordinate the delivery as soon as it reaches Vancouver.     Extremely Smooth Move!

    Just wanted to say thank you for doing such a wonderful job moving me from Quebec City to Thornhill. I have to say I was happy with your service from A-Z. From the moment I filled in online estimate to get a quote, you were the first company to respond via email and then call me too (Brian). After quick booking procedures, we were ready to move next Saturday. The moving crew in Quebec worked really fast and always laughing and cheerfully carrying on with their job effectively. I went to see how they were arranging my stuff in the truck and I have to say I was really happy with how they organized my stuff so carefully (tied cupboards to wall of truck) and they even had a lot of felt (I think) should the stuff needed any padding I reckon. Your 5 week free storage offer became really handy when our house renovation wasn’t finished on time. Everything is done now and we had our delivery to our new house last week. We finished unpacking now and everything is in a great condition! Thanks so much for your service. I am a really happy customer and would not hesitate recommending you to anyone and perhaps even using you again! This was my fifth move but first time using moving company. I’ll never do a move without moving company again; you totally took the stress of moving away. I should know being a seasoned mover! ;) Thanks again Greenland Vanlines!

    Long Distance Move from Ontario to British Colombia

    I couldn't have been happier with my experience from beginning to end. Samantha was extremely professional and helpful. She even went so far as to call me when she had a cancellation because she remembered me but didn't have any availability when I first called. The movers were UNBELIEVABLY honest, courteous and respectful. I was very pleased

    Vancouver - Toronto

    I moved from Vancouver, BC to Toronto, ON. The sales person, Samantha Goodwin. was very helpful. She gave me a lot of tips on the move, what to look for and what to be aware of. Good price for the service, pick and delivery on time. Prompt and efficient. No damage to my property. thank you Greenland Vanlines.

    Great service, stress free move (Regina to Toronto)

    Everyone has been really reassuring and helpful. The movers were on time and extremely efficient! Everything went smoothly and I would definitly recommend Greenland Van lines to everyone and will use the company in the future!

    Move from Ottawa to Niagara

    We had called Greenland Van Lines for help moving my sibling from Ottawa to Niagara Falls. They were very helpful and polite and not to mention the estimate that they gave us was pretty much dead on. They showed up when they said they would and delivered everything in its rightful condition when they said they would. Their prices are affordable and I would definitely recommend them to anybody who needs to move both short and long distances :)

    Moving from Toronto to Edmonton

    We moved a 5 bedroom house with Greenland Van Lines last month and had a great experience. A few weeks before the move, Tim visited the old house to take an inventory of our items, and we received a not-to-exceed estimate shortly thereafter. Thanks to doing some of the packing ourselves and being very organized, the final cost was more than a thousand dollars less than the estimate. On packing day, the crew arrived on time around 8 AM and packed up our entire house by about 1:30 PM. They did miss one kitchen cabinet, which I then had to pack myself, and I had to remind them to pack certain things in non-standard areas, but overall they were very thorough. The (different) crew that came the next day to do the move were also on time and had finished the entire move by the early afternoon. They brought plenty of wardrobe boxes that we needed to fill with hanging clothes ourselves, and they took those back at the other house to be reused (so you need to unpack hanging clothes right away). All of the furniture was reassembled well at the new house, and the crew was very flexible about moving pieces around multiple times until they were arranged the way I wanted them. The only things that broke were a small piece of wood on an art easel, which they glued back together and pointed out to me, and the handle on a crock pot that was old and brittle. Overall, I was very happy with Greenland Van Lines in terms of the cost, thoroughness, professionalism and friendliness. I would definitely use them again for my next move.

    Professional Moving Services.

    I just wanted to let you know how very pleased I was with my Mom's move in beginning of November. The 3 movers, Gerald,Keith, and Mark were extremely professional and did an amazing job. They were on time and took very good care of moving the contents. They were also very personable and hardworking. I am very impressed with all the great service I received from your company and will higly recommend Greenland Van Lines in the future.
