After a few hiccups, Patrick & I finally got together. I'm glad I persevered 'cause Patrick is worth the wait. He helped us chose the hardwood. He & his team did a beautiful job on our stairs & the bedrooms. Patrick himself did the hallway upstairs, My husband (who has installed hardwood floors himself in our previous homes) was so impressed with the quality of his work; the hallway was perfectly flushed to the bull nose. His guys moved the furniture, sanded & painted the spindles & handrails. The job was done as per schedule.They clean up the place before they left. We'll recommend Recovery Flooring to anybody without any hesitation.

From the moment I contacted Patrick he followed through immediately in meeting with me the following day and setting up a time to do the job the following week. He knew we needed it done asap and was able to fit us in given a recent delay in one of his customers. He followed through within the time line he predicted and him and his crew did an amazing job refinishing old hardwood floors. He was always pleasant and made himself available to answer our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend him!

Our floors were in pretty rough shape, and Patrick and his team made them look like new. They worked very hard over the weekend as we had a tight timeline. We kept adding more work for them on a daily basis but they managed to fit it into their schedule and did such a great job. I'd definitely recommend their services.

We had only 3 weeks to renovate our home before moving in. I had other trades lined up and explained the situation, along with the scheduling to Patrick. He came in, did and assessment of the home and managed to fit the work into an already hectic timeline. Despite a small hiccup, Patrick and his team completed the work wonderfully and did so in the agreed upon time and within budget. He was honest, fast, clean and the final result is stunning. The new floors are solid, no squeaks (and this is an OLD home), no gaps. The stairs look amazing and Patrick matched them to the new floors nearly perfectly. They even adjusted the doors to the new floor height. Great job, Patrick's whole crew were great.

The house we bought was tenanted so we couldn't bring any contractors to see it pre-closing. Then there were only 3.5 weeks between closing and our move-in date. The main floor hardwood was found to be scratched and worn after it was vacated, and I was desperate to find someone to finish them before we moved in or else it would probably never be done once our furniture was in. Talked to many friends asking for a referral - the few who knew someone also knew that their contractor was too busy to help. Cue in HomeStars ... and a stumbling upon Patrick's Recovery Hardwood reviews. I called Patrick and he somehow made time to come out the next day (from Milton in heavy traffic no less!) to view and give me a more-than-reasonable quote considering the size of my job (not very big) the travel he'd have to do and my tight timeline. Bolstered by the good reviews, I said "yes, can you start asap?" Somehow Patrick and his crew managed to fit me in despite his own busy schedule, arriving very early or coming back very late, and coordinating with my painter. Patrick and his crew are not just expert but also hardworking even skipping breakfast on Saturday morning to work on my house (hope the coffee and pastries helped!) Thanks Patrick! Patrick and his crew did a good job installing our hardwood floors over the summer. They are very hard working and trustworthy. Patrick is knowledgeable in his trade and is a very likeable person. He offered a reasonable price and corrected whatever we requested. After the floors were installed, I accidentally chipped a piece of the hardwood floor. Once I notified Patrick, he promptly replaced that piece of wood and did not charge me for it. I would definitely recommend Recovery Flooring to my friends and family!

After running around town to get an idea of what flooring would work with the current colour scheme in my home. I had narrowed down the flooring choices between two different brands. I received the quotes from the two different stores and they were in the same ballpark. I then proceeded to ask my neighbours about who they had both used to refinish and install their hardwood floors. I was very impressed with the floors at both my neighbours homes and they were very satisfied as well. When I called Patrick he said that he could get the engineered hardwood of my choice for a price of more than $1/sq ft. less than one of the other quotes. His installation rate was a little lower than the other quotes and overall, his quote was $800 less. The work is very good and the areas which I had a little concern was with the transition areas to ceramic with the threshold pieces. In comparison to some of my other friend's that have installed hardwood floor, the threshold was smoothly ramped down to meet the ceramic floors, very nice and clean, something I could never do on my own. Patrick and crew were done in two days and they really know what they are doing and do not cut corners on any steps from prep to the end of the project. Patrick is very accommodating and even quickly fixed the base of an armoire with some glue and staples. He also took away all the carpet, under-padding and tack boards, which were removed prior to installation. If I have any other future hardwood related projects, Patrick will be my first choice. I can confidently recommend his services to anyone who wants to have beautiful hardwood floors installed properly.

Patrick and his crew were excellent. He installed hardwood throughout our home and re-built the stairs which were formerly carpeted. Stairs are difficult and many guys shy away from them. Patrick knows stairs and made us feel at ease. They were punctual, hardworking, skilled and conscientious of our family's schedule. They were so helpful that they even helped me shovel my driveway after the snowstorm in late February! I would definitely recommend Patrick to anyone wanting hardwood floor and or stair work.

Recovery Flooring was one of 4 companies I called for a quote to redo the floors of a second floor apartment in my 120 year old house. Patrick got the job for many reasons, stellar reviews, very reasonable quote, his knowledge and patience and his willingness to accommodate my very picky stain choice. I had a sample of a different flooring product that had a grey hue that he matched to perfection. The GREAT thing is he is one of the few that CARES about the end result. The floor was thoroughly worn down with gaps etc. He took the time to do it right and results were well beyond my expectations. He made a very old floor look pretty much brand new. All this, plus he is a pleasure to deal with! Would highly recommend him.
