I have two large Linden trees, one in the front of my house and one in the back. They are beautiful trees, and I love them, but they have grown so large and wide over the years. The branches were getting too close to the house and it was time for a big haircut! I had a look on HomeStars and found Andrew Evans from the ReLeaf Group, and took a look at his website. I was impressed by his credentials and the high marks he received on this site, and so contacted him re. the job. He came out and gave me an estimate for both trees and told me to wait until the Fall when the tree would be dormant. Andrew has a calm, knowledgeable demeanour and is very easy to talk to. He arrived in November as scheduled with his crew, and did a fantastic job on my trees! Wow! What a difference it made! I can't wait to see them in full leaf in the summer, where I'm sure I'll notice the full effect. The tree out front dwarfed my home, and I was forever chopping the lower branches off so people didn't have to duck when passing by, no more of that thank goodness! The one in the back also dwarfed it's surroundings, and with its shade, killed off my grass to boot-- so I'm looking forward to enjoying more sun this year! I only have one before photo, and a couple in progress which shows the work part way through, but I will post new photo's this year when the trees are in leaf so you can see the changes.

Andrew and his team were friendly and effective. Clean-up was nicely done; they even took care to protect our patio furniture and BBQ. I would recommend Andrew and his team to anyone looking for great value and great service.

Andrew responded quickly to my first inquiry and in all subsequent correspondence. He was able to come and remove the tree within a couple of weeks and did so without making a big mess / destroying the plants around the tree and of course he cleaned up and removed all the debris.

I've used the services of Releaf Group twice before and am considering them again for more service soon. Andrew and his team are very thorough and professional with their work and their prices are quite competitive. (I live in a house with plenty of trees and backing on to a ravine so I do need regular tree care services, and have only not used them once, when they were super-busy.) The first time I hired Releaf, Andrew removed to large ash trees in my backyard that had become infested with the ash borer, and he put a brace on a HUGE maple tree to secure its two main sections that branches out about 15 feet above the ground.) The second time, he came to our house after a wind storm had cause a very large branch from a willow tree in our front yard to fall precariously on top of our electricity wire, and was risking snapping the connection to the house. He quickly removed it, cut it into smaller pieces and again removed it.

This review is long overdue. Andrew and his team of workers arrived to remove five declining/dead trees, including a birch that was in danger of falling on our house. After arranging for the work to be done, Andrew arrived two weeks beforehand to trim the birch because he was concerned it would succumb to high winds before our appointment. We were impressed that he cared enough about our property to provide this level of service. On the day, the crew worked steadily until the work was completed, late into the evening. The stumps were ground and the wood hauled away. He left firewood for our neighbours to pick up, even cutting the logs to size for easy transport. His team also trimmed some mature trees that were overhanging the roof. Andrew impressed us with his dedication to trees, mindfulness about safety, and thoughtfulness for the homeowner. We highly recommend the Re:Leaf Group.

Andrew promptly responded to my email request for service. He came to my house the next day and looked at the dead tree I needed to cut down. He was friendly and easy to talk to. We agreed on a date for the work to be done. The team came when they said they would and began to work right away. They were friendly, careful and very efficient. They completed the work in no time and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. Thank you. I would not hesitate to call these guys again and highly recommend them.

Very friendly! They cut down a massive tree, in the front yard, so expertly. This is the only company that I would use in the future. They showed up on the date agreed and they were so careful that my neighbours wanted to know who they were. I recommend them without reservation.

I had a bunch of dead branches that never recovered from the ice storm on 5 large trees that hadn't been trimmed in 10 years, as well as a bunch of young maples trying to grow in my backyard. Andrew was very quick to respond to my quote and I found the price so reasonable I increased the scope of the work. He and his team arrived exactly as planned and did an excellent job. I told him that the cleanup was so good there was less mess on the lawn then before he started. What impressed me most was that as the trimming was done while I was at work Andrew came back in the evening to make sure everything was ok and quickly took care of a small additional trimming I requested. I see no reason not use Andrew for any of our future needs.

I am very happy of Andrew and his team service today. I have two trees to prune and one tree for removal. They have wonderful customer service, response fast, on time and have a very reasonable price. The clean up work was fabulous. Overall we are very satisfied with their work. I will highly recommend them to my neighbours and friends. Thank you guys!
