    Bathroom & Bedroom Reno

    Had changed a light fixture, outlets and light recepticals on my own. When I put everything back together, 2 outlets didn't work. Couldn't figure out the problem. I hired Paul to come in and troubleshoot. Within 2 hours, the problem was fixed and we were back in business! Thanks Paul!

    Complete rewire of old house

    We have a very old house that needed a new electrical service and complete rewiring without moving tenants and tearing out walls. This was a huge, very complicated job with new issues at every turn. Martin and his team worked with us to come up with options to complete the work with as little disruption as possible and in as timely a manner as possible given the complexity of the job. Martin was easy to communicate with. Always listened to our needs, consulted on issues as they arose and helped us understand what he and his team were doing. He was very adaptable and never lost his cool even when the house presented surprise after surprise. An example of his even tempered approach can be found in this quote. One day I asked if there had been any surprises today. Martin said, "Kathryn, there are no more surprises, only discoveries." I loved his humour and philosophical approach to the challenges of rewiring a 100 year old house. We found Hot Electric to be very flexible in accommodating the needs of tenants in each of the suites of the house. They were respectful of the fact they were in someone's home and always made sure to make the work site safe and to clean up when they left for the day. My son, who lives in one of the suites in the old house and who is a qualified electrician, was also impressed with their work and their attention to detail. I am happy to recommend Hot Electric and would definitely consider hiring them again if another electrical project came up. Kathryn

    Greenhouse electrical

    Martin has done work for us in the past. He was our immediate choice when we needed some new work done for our greenhouse. Martin is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and works diligently, never rushing work while still being efficient... he makes sure it's a job well done. It is always a pleasure having Martin on-site, he is friendly, conscientious, courteous, a happy guy who works with integrity. We'd recommend him with no hesitation.

    Pot lights, smoke alarms, three other lights installed

    Martin was punctual, arrived on time and phoned to confirm times not only ahead of time but on the day of. Detailed analysis of what was needed and why old lights should be replaced. He literally illuminated a very dark living room so that I am able to read and enjoy that living space. Very friendly service and very professional. All the work was done with very little invasive surgery, if you would, and both Martin and Lisa were a pleasure to interact with. They will be my 'go to' company for future electrical/wiring needs. Martin worked to repair my outside deck lights that have never worked properly, install timers on the porch and other outside lights as well as pot lights and closet lights. A thorough and well done job. Thank you to Martin and to Hot Electric!

    Major renovation

    Three hard working partners, Paul Martin and Tristan eager to please the customer and have the job done well. They have the right tools for the job that is essential for a good clean finish. They are knowledgeable, very courteous and polite. Always a positive attitude and no project appears to be too difficult for them Not the cheapest, but they are responsible, conscientious and they deliver good quality on time. I will certainly use them again on my next project

    Wiring for new Dryer

    Hot Electric is a superb company to deal with. I called for an urgent electrical wiring job and Martin arrived in less than 2 hours. He rewired a very difficult dryer outlet and installed an access panel. He then removed the granite cutoff and installed and balanced our new range. He also installed a new digital furnace themostat and removed an old light fixture. I would definitely recommend Martin of Hot Electric for his excellent service, knowledge and helpful advice.

    Electrical panel replacement

    Updated electrical panel. Quick, honest and friendly service. Good quality for affordable price. They also offered to fix a couple other things in the kitchen after I wondered what could be a problem with this. It was kind of nice, as we did not schedule this additional work.

    Hot-wiring for Smoke/CO2 Alarms for Licensed Childcare Cener

    I needed 5 smoke/CO2 alarms installed in my Home Childcare Centre. Within the span of a few days, Paul of Hot Electric came by for an estimate, wired 3 levels for Smoke/CO2 alarms, and installed the alarms. By far the best customer service I've encountered in the industry! The alarms also work like a charm, and will definitely keep the children and me safe.

    Tripping Breakers

    Paul Hardiman, Co-owner of HOT ELECTRIC responded to our phone call right away. We were able to set up an immediate appointment for a diagnosis and replacement of all our old circuit breakers. Paul was very professional, efficient and courteous and I would be happy to use his services again and would not hesitate to recommend HOT ELECTRIC to friends and family.
