    Window coverings

    I had an incredible experience with Model Space Designs when I hired them to handle window coverings after completing a whole house renovation. Needless to say, after such a big project I was at my wits end and had no thoughts left to pass through my brain. Thankfully, Sarah was so incredible I didn’t need to worry about it. She took care of colours, designs, coordination, everything and I absolutely love what she’s done. Plus, the prices were great - would definitely recommend.

    drapes

    My husband and I had several company's in our home to give us advise . We weren't satisfied with their advise as we wanted something extremely unique & modern . We decided to contact Model Space designs to see what they would offer and finally found what we wanted. We order a gliding panel track with horizontal stainless steel bars for our kitchen door and matching roller shades with same bars in our open concept family room. In the Master we decided on Sfold modern drapery. We adore everything . We are planning to do the rest of our home with them in the near future .

    Window dressings for five rooms

    I hired Model Space Designs to dress the windows in 5 rooms - blinds, drapes, sheers, everything - and I really couldn’t be happier! The work Sarah and Mike do is just unbelievable. Great taste, great suggestions, everything was on time and on budget. If I had to give them a rating out of 5 they’d get a 10!

    Curtains

    I had Model Space Design come in to install curtains on our floor to ceiling condo windows and was quite pleased with the result. When the designer came in I felt she was a bit strong minded in her design suggestion since I had some conflicting ideas. Ultimately, however, I went with her suggestions and am pleased with the result. I feel the one thing that could be improved upon is price, but nonetheless am happy with the work that has been done.

    Blinds for entire home

    I used this company when I moved into my home. I was impressed with the designers ability to assist me find the right product for my windows . Her suggestions were practical considering I have 4 small kids . One year later and I am still loving everything. My biggest concern was quality when I was shopping around. This company really came through and delivered exceptional quality product. Thank You

    curtains made

    I hired Model Space Designs to make some curtains for me that I then installed myself and I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the experience. While I found the designer helpful and easy to work with, I also felt that the quality wasn’t the greatest and especially for the price, which I felt was a little high. If I needed similar work done in the future, I don’t think I’d use their services again.

    Thank you for your feedback. I am very sorry to hear this and surprised by your remarks. I called you a few days after everything was delivered and you told me everything looked great and you were very happy. Generally we are an in- home service that provides installation. I made an exception in this case, because you insisted you were handy and you wanted to save on installation cost. Its not too difficult of a process but there are certain tricks that come along with years in the trade that will affect the outcome of the finished product and affect the quality of the product. If the blinds are not perfectly leveled they wont roll up & down straight. If the Drapery tracks are not bent to shape or returned at the side it can affect the light gap. As well, our installer’s always use some techniques to fold the drapes emphasizing the pleats and spray the tracks for easy gliding. These are only a few examples. Your apartment had several large windows to dress. We discussed your needs and wants -light control, aesthetics, and budget. We did our best to work within your budget with a complimentary check measure and a reasonable fabric. You expressed your thoughts on the price as being reasonable considering the size of the windows.

    cottage project

    I hired Model Space Design to come out to my cottage and do some work and I couldn’t be more impressed. Not only was the finished product fantastic, but when they came to do the work there was a huge storm, which took out the electricity. After donning some helmet flashlights and using only hand powered tools they went to work and the final product was still superb!

    drapes and window coverings

    I have used Model Space Designs several times for different drapes and window coverings and have been happy to keep going back! They were responsive, really great at judging space and personal style in order to make appropriate design suggestions and they were flexible on time in order to fit my schedule.

    Roman Blinds

    We hired Model Space Designs based on their positive reviews on Homestars. The quote was good, the installation was great, and no problems with our roman blinds since the install over 2 months ago. We have more windows that need attention, and will be using them again down the road.
