We first found Deb and Value Pro through Homestars in January this year. She painted the complete interior of a new house in SE Calgary, with a fair price and great above-and-beyond service. Then, when we needed some painting done at our other place, a quick text to Deb was all it took for her to give us a quote, then 2 days of work to get things done on time and on budget. Everyone needs a professionals like doctors or dentists in their lives - we are pleased to have ValuePro and Deb as our painter. Highly recommended!

I purchased a townhouse in Garrison Green in October of 2013 that needed painting throughout. The job was complex in that there was quite a bit of patching and repair work from the previous owners children. After interviewing a number of painting services one clearly stood out – Value Pro painting. Deb asked excellent questions and assessed my needs quickly. Her level of knowledge was clearly above every other candidates and I loved that she was the one doing the actual work. Once she started the job it was clear that she has a passion for painting. She arrived on time, was courteous, always kept me in the loop, and was a pleasure to work with. She was flexible and able to work around the schedules of the electricians when necessary, and always had excellent suggestions for how to streamline the process. She was a delight to work with, and the final product was beautiful. A friend of mine who has retired from painting saw the house before and after and said that Deb’s work was absolutely top notch. I have already brought her back for some painting of the front of the house and will work with her for years to come on my investment properties. Deb gets my highest recommendation.

i did my research. after referral through friend and bbb listing we hired vale pro painters. deb was professional. job was cleaned. job was good. price was good. i would referr to other friends.

I was getting my condo ready for sale and had to get a some handyman repairs and painting done. I made the mistake of allowing the handyman service to do everything.  After painting only the bathroom door, it was obvious he was NOT a painter! Not only was he super slow, but there were roller marks and fuzz on on what he had done that was worse that the condition of the door before! I stopped the painting and then began the search for a painter. Using Homestars and Google I came across a few names and Value pro was at the top of the list because I had an idea from her website what the cost was going to be. As it is spring I was lucky enough that the companies I emailed could come out for a quote. I had three quotes, one that was ridiculously expensive from a one day service, another that tried to sell me of work I didn't feel I needed. (since I am selling), and the quote from Deb. From attitude alone I wanted to hire her on the spot because she was honest on what I wanted to accomplish in order to sell. She suggested I leave the closets and ceilings and just go ahead with a single coat on all walls and doors that needed it and not change the colour. For the type of condo I had she said that a colour change really was not going to increase the chances of selling or raise the amount the condo would fetch in the market. The colour was the original builders beige which I hated, but she said that it was close to one of the most popular trend colours now.  I also had black fuzz around my ceiling fan and since the ceilings were knock down texture she said it could be just swept off with a clean broom, which it did! (The other quote I got said I had to spend $1000 to paint the whole ceiling! She then gave me a rough estimate on the spot and emailed the final quote in a few hours. The only issue I faced was that it was going to be at least a week before she could get to it (which wasn't what I was hoping for) but if the job would have been bigger I was looking at almost a month!  Now that the job is finished I am very happy with what we decided on. She did the coat of paint in the master bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom and did a coat of paint on all of the baseboards and trim where it was needed and fixed the bathroom door! I am super happy with it as the condo looks almost new! Plus it only took her one day to actually do the job! I would like to have our new house painted next year when Deb has the time. She is very fast and good at what she does and she has such a super attitude as well!

Deb did an amazing job for us! I contacted her company on a Friday morning after the painter that I had scheduled for that coming Monday bailed on me. After discussing what we needed with Deb, which was our main floor painted (walls and patching, etc.), and sending Deb a few pictures, she emailed me back to confirm her quote and confirmed that she could start work on the following weekend which were originally her next days off. Deb checked in with me after the first day to see if we had any concerns, which I appreciated. As quoted, she finished painting in just 2 days (when other painters had estimated the job would take 3-4 days!). Our home was left clean and in good shape. After she was sure we were happy with the job, Deb was nice enough to meet me near my office to return the keys and collect payment. Overall, we were very happy with the job and the service we received. I have already recommended Deb to my real estate agent friend for her to use with other clients.

I have had Deb paint several of my homes and rentals over the years and she had always been professional and did excellent work. We had a excellent working relationship. Until the last time. She started the work in my house then had to leave for another job and never came back!! We had 2 appointment times for her to come back but she never showed. Despite several phone calls and emails I have not heard from her. I have no idea what happened!! Therefore I would not recommend her to anyone else.

Deb at Value Pro is a true professional, and an expert painter. I found Deb to be the most skilled, most professional and the easiest to work with, of any painter that I have ever hired. The job Deb did for me was on time on, on budget, perfect quality and without any problems whatsoever. I highly recommend Value Pro painters. For all my future jobs Value Pro is the only painter I will use.

This is the 4th time we've had Deb in to paint over the years and once again we were very impressed with the work she did. I'm not sure she wants me advertising this but every surface had residue or damage due to wallpaper we had removed. She must have had to do a lot of skim-coating to get things looking smooth again - and smooth it looks! Amazing! Still the best painter in the business!

I was referred to Value Pro by a co-worker as he was impressed by the straightforward approach and quality service that was provided by Deb. We needed to get our main floor of our home painted to contemporary colours. (Originally pink!). Deb gave us good advice on painting and colours and did a meticulous job. We were not disappointed! Highest recommendations!
