We discovered M Scott Home Improvements on HomeStars. Along with two other contractors who also quoted the just-completed job. Our almost 30-year old house foundation needed its parging repaired/replaced/rehabbed… three potential suppliers quoted. Of the two that impressed us with their approach, we chose Michael. He proved to be highly knowledgeable, widely skilled, and a pleasure to work with. Moreover, he explained what was needed AND how he would address those requirements. As a result, we DO highly recommend him.

I have worked with Mike before and was happy with his work and speedy service. When I needed the additional pad poured I didn't hesitate to call Mike.

A previous concrete driveway and patio installation by another contractor had an improper slope, so water draining off the driveway was running into the garage. M Scott Renos carved out a 2' length of the concrete and installed a drain to redirect the runoff. The resolved a huge problem.

Mike parged our front concrete block porch. The old block foundation around the porch was crumbling. Mikes expertise made it possible to resurface the blocks giving it a much better appearance and structure. He also resurfaced our old concrete stairs. We would highly recommend his services.

M Scott did a nice clean job, accommodating my construction schedule and delivering the installation of a solid 5" floor that can withstand heavy loads should I need to repair any heavy equipment in the shop. I was also provided with guidance on the finish as I was originally thinking of the 'buffed to a shiny glass like finish' for the floor until Mike pointed out that when I come into the shop in the winter with snowy boots the shiny finish can be dangerously slippery. I went for the slightly rougher finish and glad that I did.
