    New roof

    Arthur did the job quickly and very professionally. He explained the various options and recommendations clearly. Everything was done at the time he said it would be done. I'm confident that I have a good roof.

    Shingle replacement

    The Roof Whisperer replaced our roof shingles in the fall of 2012, and they did an amazing job. Arthur was very easy to work with, and after getting multiple quotes from various companies, we decided to go with him because of his efficiency, price, personality, and knowledge. The crew that came out on the day was also extremely efficient, clean, and completed the work in two days as was agreed upon. We have recommended The Roof Whisperer to many friends, and would not hesitate to hire them again.

    Replace with velux skylight

    Arthur prompt to give estimate; informative; does not oversell. Jean efficiently organize installation and provided written estimate. Nick: prompt installation in Christmas Eve!! Very efficient; showed up as promised; cleanup perfectly after the job Great team!!

    new roof

    I needed new shiggles on my semi-detached home. I had three layers to remove including old cedar. I've gathered 5 quotes from different roofers. Some were very low (too low to be true). Some were higher including the one from The Roof Whisperer. The owner, Arthur, took the time to explain what they would do and why. I agreed. The project was done on time. The crew was professional. They did care about details and clean up. They did a new custom framing for my window. It looks nice.

    New Flat Roof

    The Roof Whisperer was great! They were willing to schedule the installation for a specific date as I was coming in from out of town and they showed up as promised. The did a fantastic job staying almost on budget and completing the job in a timely manner. I was very happy with the service and the quality of work was top notch. I highly recommend this company!

    Four Skylights

    Good job, completed on time and on budget. When two small glitches showed after installation, he came back to fix them immediately without complaint. Happy with how he helped us pick the right skylights for our home and with the final result.

    New roof and skylights

    Arthur answered all our questions and was able to provide valuable recommendations. The work was done on time and with quality. His crew was very professional throughout the entire project. Would not hesitate to recommend The Roof Whisperer to anyone.

    Fix hole and replace roof over balcony

    When we discovered a hole in our roof above the balcony, we called The Roof Whisperer to come by for a complimentary quote. Arther came by within 24 hours and gave me his assessment both of the roof with the hole (racoons had been living in our roof) as well as our flat roof (I inquired about it's current condition). I felt he was honest and fair in his assessment and gave me solutions to deal with the problem. He answered my many questions and put me in touch with a great wildlife removal company. His quote seemed to be fair (I did get other quotes allowing me to accurately compare). Once I decided to hire them, Arthur coordinated with the wildlife removal company to set a date (within one week) when the work could be completed. The work was completed quickly and efficiently. I plan to hire him again next year when we decide to do some maintenance on our flat-roof.

    Repair of flashing around the chimney

    The flashing around the chimney had not been installed properly and we ended up with a leak in a couple of areas in the house. Arthur came by and assessed the situation promptly, provided an estimate for the job when he said he would and despite a string of rainy wet days, still managed to fix our problem. Would highly recommend The Roof Whisperer to anyone who needs to get a job done right the first time around.

    Flat roof plumbing leak repair

    We had a very serious leak in the flat roof drain plumbing on our roof. This cause water to leak and flood our main floor with heavy rains. Though the repair was only for the drain on the roof and plumbing repair, most companies wouldn't quote or warranty a repair job without replacing the entire roof (which was unnecessary). The Roof Whisperer was able to give us a quote and a warranty for the drain repair, and they did a fantastic job. They were efficient, and it looks amazing now, as well the repair happened the weekend before Hurricane Sandy's storm hit us, and we are very pleased to report that the roof has held up and all water leaking has stopped!
