    stay away

    Patrick and his subs did the whole house S/f, eavesthrough, leaf guards last spring. Had major issues right after installation in one corner which was fixed. However 1 year later almost all gable fascia was torn off by wind. Patrick would ignore phone calls and once pick up he promised to come in 3 weeks, so we waited. He did not show up and not returning phone calls. We also had snow ridge in the attick because they did not finish soffit on the part of gable not visible from the ground. We got lots of snow through the unfinished soffit in the gable/cricket roof connection. This was a major leak thru the wall. We do not recommend this company as they do not stand behind the results and lack business ethics.

    Victoria had contacted us after a fall out with her previous contractor doing the siding and aluminum work on her home. Normally we do not take jobs that were started by other contractors and right away explained the really poor workmanship from the previous contractor. After extended discussion we agreed to finish the project for her (except the siding) and had everything detailed as to what was to be completed. We also explained that we cannot offer our typical warranty since a lot of the project was completed by someone else and they did not want to redo it. The soffit issue mentioned was finished and was not the issue in regards of the leak (it was a roofing problem and the design of the roof landing did not help the issue). Fast forward a year, we had the crazy wind storm that had our phone ringing off the hook. Victoria called us a week or two later and we said we wouldn't be able to service it for a couple of weeks since it wasn't a warranty service and told her to try a different contractor because we were booked up. So I apologize we could not help you out but I don't feel it warranted this review. We always try to accommodate all of our clients. Thanks, Patrick

    Soffits,Eaves, Fascia,

    Look no further, these guys are true professionals, extremely satisfied with there services and product installed. I highly recommend Troughway. I got my Fascia, Soffits & Eaves all done in one day ( they worked a good part of the day in the rain). I will surely hire them again. Thank you guys for the great job. The house looks great.     Eaves, Fascia, and Soffits

    We just had all our Eavestroughs, Fascia and Soffits replaced. We couldn't be happier with the completed job. Patrick was quick to come out and quote us, once we compared quotes, we decided on throughway .They were able to start within the next couple of weeks. The job was completed within a few days and the end result was perfect. We have had a few friends view it who have construction knowledge and they have all agreed that the job is near perfect. Thanks again, Patrick!

    Eavestrough replacement and new soffit

    Patrick is fantastic. I am very happy with his work and professionalism. I had to rebuilt a porch and needed new eavestroughs and soffits, and I decided to redo the eavestrough on my whole house. Patrick was very accommodating with my construction schedule and was able to reuse the leaf guards he installed 2 years ago. Today it rained and I had no issues. Thank you so much for your great work!!! I highly recommend Troughway.

    Leaf Guard Install

    I contacted Patrick to give me an estimate to install leaf guard on my gutters as they were getting filled with leaves. He came over the same day to take a look. His estimate was very good and comparable to others. I hired him on the spot and gave me a date and time when he would get it done. He communicate very well and came over as promised and got the work done in one day. Not only did he install the leaf guards but he cleaned up my gutters as well before installing, on top of that I barely noticed him being here doing the work, there was no disruption, he worked fast and got it done before it got too cold. I would recommend him and hire him again.

    Eavestrough replacement

    Patrick was awesome! Prompt in communication, extremely diligent and professional in his work. He replaced eavestroughing for the entire house in a day and a half. I would totally recommend his services.

    Downspout and eavestrough repair

    Patrick was very professional and quick to come on site and do the job. He repaired some damaged eavestrough and installed a downspout for a rain barrel. The work was great quality. He also came back later on to readjust downspout for rain barrel height. Great work and will definitely recommend!

    Eavestrough cleaning & replacement

    Patrick provided me with a competitive and comprehensive estimate. I found him to be very thorough. I needed a Eavestrough + Downspout replacement, cleaning on existing Eavestroughs, patches for some rooftop shingles and a soffit replacement. Brian came out within the week to do the installation and completed all work requested. He also cleaned up well after the job was completed. My only complaint was that I needed a soffit replaced between my house and my neighbours and this work was done when I was not around... so instead of putting in one full piece, it was replaced with a half piece on my house side which doesn't exactly match the half-piece of my neighbours side. It is simply a matter of aesthetics and I had I been there I would have asked for it to be redone. Once I noticed I probably should have followed-up with Partick to see what could be done, Overall I would recommend them.

    Leaf Guard Installation

    We are very satisfied with the services and product installed by Troughway. We dealt with Patrick who was totally professional, responding to our preliminary enquiry promptly, making an onsite estimate and carrying out the work in very short order. He even provided photos of the eaves troughing before and after. Project services included gutter cleaning before installation of the leaf guards. Communications throughout were excellent. We are very pleased to recommend this company for your consideration.

    Leafguard installation

    Patrick provided us with an estimate when most others didn't even return my call or took more than a week to provide one. Brian came out within the week to do the installation. He was professional, courteous and cleaned up after the job was done. Not to mention Troughway provided us the most competitive quote. The area that was problematic looks to be fixed after they unclogged all the gutters! I would highly recommend them.
