    Trane AC Unit

I'm none of the guys who dealt with Craig for an AC unit. I heard so many stories about failed installations and rushed activities that I was very scared to start something. It's one of the reasons why I am one year late. But after to much heat from last year I said I should go on. And wow, Craig is so careful and so professional. His team is great and fast. He was right on time. Even called to tell me that he was sorry for the late that didn't existed. The installation was clean and quick. My basement was cleaner when the team left. And that happened in a rainy day. Al my questions were asked and I got thorough instructions of how the things are done. Overall great experience and if anyone is on the fence, i would say, go on, Craig is your man!

    Installed undersized evaporator coil

Purchased an a/c unit from four seasons comfort back in 2011. 2.5 ton unit. On a recent schedule maintenance done it was identified the coil was leaking refrigerant. Based on the cost to replace the coil alone and considering the unit was 8 years old I went ahead and decided to replace the whole unit. As we take out the old coil we noticed the installed unit was undersized as it was a two ton unit which resulted in the unit failing so much earlier than it should of. On top of that the unit was never registered with the manufacturer for the extended warranty. Most of the reviews are great but install problems like this doesn't necessarily show up right away. Ensure the proper equipment is being installed or better yet pay the extra for better service. Update: I purchased a 2.5 ton unit back in 2011 which the evaporator coil failed recently on an annual maintenance test. My coil and a/c unit was never registered with the manufacturer by four seasons so the extended warranty of 10 years was not applicable. I purchased a new unit (not through four seasons obviously) and upon removing the coil we found out they installed a 2 ton! A mismatch in size with the a/c unit and coil resulted in it being overworked and to fail early (a/c should not fail in 8 years). I left feedback on homestars and craig did reach out to me, after some back and forth he agreed to make things right and reimburse me a measly $350. I had to buy a whole new a/c because they installed the wrong unit, a reputable company would have taken more responsibility. He's great at sweet talking to get your sale but really his lack of technical knowledge showed in our conversation. Some of the questions he asked: The unit is still under warranty, I could have replaced it for you. This was not true as his office never registered the unit. Even if they did the manufacturer would not warranty it because it was not paired with the proper a/c tonnage. So why would I just install another 2 ton rated coil on a 2.5 ton a.c unit. Replacing the coil does not correct the issue, there has been years of additional wear and tear on the a/c unit itself as the coil could not manage the load. The damage done to the compressor over 8 years will just contaminate the new coil. This should have been caught on the maintenance checks So why wasn't this caught at install when the system was tested, or in 2013 when you team performed a check? For those of you who already had your install done, I would highly recommend you get the model and serial numbers from Craig and call the manufacturer yourself or go on their website to ensure it's been registered. Also ask when it was registered. Hopefully if you ever need warranty service you have a much better experience than I did.

    Answer from pro:

I'm not sure who you are, but please call me at 14165247228 or email us at fourseasoncomfort@bellnet.ca. I'm sorry to hear your evaporator coil is leaking but should be under warranty. We are a reputable company and would not install a 2 ton evaporator coil with a 2.5 ton AC. The cost difference between a 2 ton and a 2.5 ton evaporator coil is $19 and our company never takes short cuts at any cost. We have hundreds of pleased client and take pride in our work. I look forward to hearing from you. Ty Craig

    Delivered as promised

I had reached out to Craig about a group buy for an AC this summer and it was super easy to work with Craig regarding the quote which he got back to me on same day. He scheduled with me quickly and his crew came back and took out my old one and installed the new one on time as promised. They gave me some tips along the way and explained exactly what they did. Cannot ask for more. Great job Craig and Jordan and Jason. Would call them again...hopefully not too soon if my furnace needs work.

    GREAT company

Reached out to a few companies to get quotes for a furnace/ac/humidifier replacement. After meeting with Craig and reading the reviews here we decided Four Season would be a good company to go with. Turns out it was a GREAT company to go with. What makes a good company great? Excellent customer service. Sometimes installations don't always go smoothly and there can be issues but it's how a company handles those situations that makes the difference. Craig proactively reached out to let me know he was made aware that there were issues with our installation. He assured me everything would be taken care of to our satisfaction. Craig and his awesome team made good on that promise. Afterward, Craig followed up to ensure all was well. Wish more businesses were like this. Will definitely recommend their services to any neighbours, friends & family.

    AC installation

Got my AC installed yesterday. It's a bit early to see the conditioner's performance, but the installation was done professionally and very neatly. There was a tiny issue that was fixed right away.Craig went above and beyond to make me happy. Highly recommended

Furnace replacement. Out with old and in with the new. Fantastic experience.

Our furnace was reaching that age where it needed to be replaced. I looked online hoping for a reputable and honest person/company to work with. There were so many honest reviews regarding Four Season Comfort and Craig that I let him an email just to get things started. Craig responded almost immediately. Just talking with him put my mind at ease. He was knowledgeable and respectful. I felt really good talking to Craig that I didn't need to go out for any other quotes. Installation day was very painless as well. The team made sure to protect the floors before they came into the house and into the basement. I was in the office beside the furnace room and I can hear them talking about the installation. To me this is an excellent sign because it showed that they were working as a team and were ensuring they were on the same page. Craig called a couple hours after the installation to check up on everything and also offer any help now or in the future. Craig and his team provides excellent service and genuinely cares about his clients. There are some who may say go somewhere to get a lower price. But I'll tell you that you get what you pay for. I am willing to pay for quality service. Everyone out here should do the same as well! I will be recommending Craig to family and friends for all heating and cooling needs. thanks so much Craig and team!

    New furnace

My furnace broke down suddenly last week and I found myself in a no heat, uncomfortable situation that required immediate attention. After considerable researching, I contacted Craig and I was extremely impressed. Because I received fast, honest and caring service, I felt confident choosing this company. Adam and Vince installed a new furnace promptly, professionally and efficiently. I’d like to express my gratitude to this wonderful team for coming to my rescue and I’m pleased to say that I would highly recommend them.

Quick response, professional, to the point and no BS

Went through through several back and forths with my current rental company who tried to up sell me into a rental water handler (currently own mine) without properly diagnosing the issues behind why I was getting no warm air but still getting hot water. Wasn't convinced due to how pushy they were and the outrageous "deal" they offered me to fix something I wasn't even sure was broken, I decided to get a second opinion from Craig and David after reading good things here. David came within 3 hours on a short notice, diagnosed and fixed the issue within 5 minutes, stayed to see that it's still working, and gave some very good tips about how to keep the unit functional until my current rental company comes fix their own water boiler. Definitely brought me some relief to have some warm air in this time of year. I will definitely recommend Four Season Comfort, and will be back in the future to get an installed unit from these guys once I'm over and done with this inherited contract.

    Furnace replacement

I contacted Craig about replacing my 20 yr old furnace, thinking I was too late in the season, but I almost immediately heard back from him. He accommodated my request to have a pre-inspection done on a Saturday, and the final installation was completed on the following Wednesday. From the outset and throughout the project, Craig was responsive to every communication I sent him, incredibly polite and accommodating, and dedicated to providing the best possible customer service. On the install date, his guys were very much the same, and took the time to answer all my questions. Craig took the time to ensure everything was clear and hassle-free. Just a terrific experience.
