    ASUS G73Jh laptop refurbish

I was lucky enough to stumble upon PCNix video on YouTube showing Amir doing a lightning fast tear down of a G73Jh as I was looking for solutions to some sudden noise (fan) issues. After calling Amir he said to bring it in the next day and did a fantastic job refurbishing the laptop and installing an ultra-quiet new fan. From what I gather I was lucky to stumble upon the PCNix video as most repair shops won't touch laptops as complicated as the G73Jh ... I was very lucky. Amir is a top notch technician and I was very lucky to find him so quickly. Thanks again Amir. As you can tell I would highly recommend PCNix for any repairs - fast, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and hands down best service I've had!

    Answer from pro:

Hey James. I love working on these monster gaming machines. Asus ROG series gives me the challenge I'm always looking for. I'm glad you found the fan to be quite.

    Computer Repair

Amir was very approachable, honest and professional. PCNix diagnosed my problem, and came way under their quoted price, well before the estimated time. In an environment of many computer repair companies, these guys stand out. I will definitely recommend them.

    Saved my data

I have utilized PCNIX a few times and was very satisfied with the service. My laptop stopped working and I thought I lost all my data on the hard drive. PCNIX made turned it into an external hard drive and I was able to access all the old files on my new laptop. The techician made a housecalls and was very courteous and helpful. He provided other hints and tips to increase my computer efficiency. I would have no hesitation in recommending PCNIX services to all my friends and clients.

    Autobody shop setup

Amir and his team worked hard setting up my new auto body shop in Toronto. These guys hooked up my network setup and 3 computers that needed installation. I ended up getting a game computer for our break room which I think was a fantastic idea. During the process one of my guys offered to help and had an accident with one of the computers. Amir took it in and repaired it at no cost. That deserves a 15 stars review because it was my employee's fault for the damage. Overall great small team. They can handle my computers. Setup network server and run all wires in the new place. He's my go to guy for all computer repair stuff and even for my personal laptop. Two thumbs up guys!!

Data recivery at blazing fast speed

I dropped my laptop and my drive crashed. I was browsing on homestars and looked up computer repair just to find it too expensive and time consuming to get data from my failed hard drive. Until I found toronto pc service. The tech was informative and told me what are the chances of getting the data. Got it all done overnight and even provided full report on what was not recovered. Charged only 100 bucks while others were talking about 400 to 700 for the same job. I also got a new hard drive in my computer from these guys and they put all files where they belong. Overall, I'm not just happy but also grateful as these were my work files. Speed was necessary and the tech complied very well to my urgent needs.

    Laptop keyboard and touchpad repair

The tech took in my computer after I dropped vodka on the keyboard and I think i received fair value and service. Originally the tech was kind enough to try and fix the keyboard and the touch pad. They fixed the touchpad but keyboard was beyond repair as it had corroded inside. I bought my Toshiba from US so the keyboard was not readily available in stock. I had to wait 6 days for it to be shipped in. Toronto PC proactively offered to tune my computer at no charge because things had changed from the original estimate so I agreed. 6 days later I got my computer delivered and it's been working great since. The tuning was pretty good too, got my computer running slightly faster than before and it was free. The Good: - Honest estimate - Reasonable prices. Was lower than other estimates I got. - Tech was available and answered all questions. - I received a call a week after from the same tech asking how my computer was working - surprisingly didn't try to sell anything. - Got delivery at reasonable charge. - He had tons of other laptops on the table so the business seems busy and trusted by others. The bad: - It's a small office, not a retail store. - They don't sell anything. The guy said it's because they focus on repairs and not sales. I guess it's kind of a good thing. - Office is on the second floor but it was ok since it was a laptop. Overall, I will definitely go here again if I have more problems with my computer. I just won't expect to buy anything since they don't carry any retail stuff. I think because they focus on repairs only is a good thing because no one tried to sell me anything. Just repair my computer, give it a small tune up and deliver it to my door.

    Answer from pro:

I'm happy that even with a few days delay we came to a mutual conclusion and PCNix was able to retain a satisfied client. Your computer was certainly a bit off the norm that we see here in Canada but there is always a solution. I don't sell anything because repair is what I do and I do it in best possible way. I appreciate your kind words. I'm just a call, email, tweet or text away if you ever need my assistance.
