After receiving a few quotes to replace all existing windows and patio door I chose Heritage Home Design. Walter and Alex are sincere professionals who gave me excellent service and competitive pricing. George, the installer, was very much a perfectionist and with his many years of experience made the whole process seamless! Thank you Heritage Homes, I am one happy customer who will not hesitate to refer business your way.

Very pleased with the work that was done. Definitely recommend Heritage Home and their great team. Only word of caution to anyone having all their windows changed, be prepared to cover all your furniture from the dust. This is an aspect that I had not done so well and had a large clean up job to deal with.

I am very pleased about the high quality of service I received for the installation of my 2 doors and 2 windows. The installers worked quickly and efficiently, and in a very professional manner. They cleaned up well upon completion of the project and ensured customer satisfaction. In particular, what impressed me was how well the insulation was done (compared to my older windows). A job well done! I highly recommend the services provided by Walter and Alex. They were very hard-working and diligent throughout the entire planning process when it came to how I envisioned my front doors and windows; not only that, but they always suggested what was best. Hats off to both of you for a job well done!

I could not be more pleased with the service that I received right from the outset from Walter and Alex. Even though basement windows aren't very exciting, these guys spent a lot of time planning the details and designing a custom patio door. The installer, Yuri, was superb and the quality of product/craftsmanship was excellent. Definitely a 10 out of 10 :)

Re: New Construction of 5' Patio Sliding Door with Transom and internal mini-blinds with kick lock. Originally, there was a 4' window. I was nervous because their installer had to cut into the house bricks and install the proper lintel (header) and stone sill (one piece). Heritage Home Design's talented installer (Alex) was meticulous and did an excellent job. I will include pictures if website permits. All telephone calls were returned promptly and they were always available to answer questions. Overall, I am very happy with the Patio Sliding Door with Transom and Internal Blinds and with its installation. The internals blinds have 3 settings (open, privacy or semi-privacy). I like the semi-privacy setting (closed up top and lower 1/3 slightly slanted open). I especially also like that the sliding door can be opened a few inches and locked into place to let air in but door is securely locked with kick-lock.

I'm a professional home renovator currently working in the Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Ancaster area and am currently working with other contractors and real estate agents. I recently had windows installed with with these guys and was extremely pleased not only with the price and quality of the windows but also their high level of customer service. From the beginning stages of deciding which window was best for my house to the installation process, they maintained constant contact with me and worked with my timeline. What a great choice, if you need new windows or looking to increase your property value on a flip, Walter and Alex are the guys to call.

We needed a window replaced, but we wanted a custom design that would both provide privacy and add some character to the room. Some window installers didn't seem to understand why we wanted this. But Heritage Home Design did understand, and provided us with a beautiful stained-glass window which looks fabulous in our home. We appreciate the work they did.

We have had a fairly long process of renovating the whole house, and near the end we decided to take the final few steps and replace the main entrance door and a window. We worked with many crews of contractors because the renovation touched almost everything in the house. We went through a very through selection process including several top homestars vendors of the year in the recent years. In the end, we decided to go with Walter & Alex. What attracted us the most include their comprehensive knowledge about the products; very detailed and through explanation of the differences ( honestly, after such a big renovation , we learned a lot, but still, there were quite many details between different options in doors ); very customer focus ( they accommodate our busy schedule, extra coordination with the landscape company, etc ); very competitive pricing ( they are not cheap, but exceptional value ). We had a very tight requirement for timing, and they were able to meet the timeline. The installation went smooth. All in all, we are very happy with the decision and everything in this process.

We were looking for a reliable company to replace our windows and doors. Walter and Alex were very helpful with advices and suggestions and we together went trough the whole renovation in a professional and timely manner. Everyday we receive complements in our new doors and windows, and the quality of insulation, noise and overall beauty of our home changed drastically.

After looking at quite a lot of different window companies and their differing quality of products and prices we invited Heritage Windows to give us a quote - the sales man was very friendly and knew his product thoroughly, he also brought a sample window for us to view, we were very impressed with the security in the windows and doors and the type of seals used. We were not hassled by countless 'follow up' telephone calls chasing us for an order, once we made a decision and called Alex (sales person and evaluator) everything moved very quickly and smoothly - just 4-5 weeks from order to installation. The installer was very friendly, kept us fully informed during the installation and did a very good job. BTW, this fella was very educated in other renovation areas and actually gave us few nice ideas that e are going to implement soon. WE ARE VERY, VERY PLEASED and will not hesitate to recommend friends to Heritage Home Design.
