Daryl responded quickly to my inquiry and came out to look at the house and said he could fit me into his schedule next week. His work was completed as promised and I am very happy with the results. He is very experienced and takes pride in his work - it shows. If you need some brick or masonry work, Daryl would be a great choice.

My original Flagstone steps were falling off. Darryl inspected it and offered me the choice to repair or replace the stones. I decided to replace them. His price was the same as the other 4 quotes I received. He noticed that my wall bricks near the steps were becoming an issue, as well as a few other things that the others didn't. I decided to do everything that he recommended, and for about double the work he charged me about 50% more. He finished the job in 3 days and vacuumed the ground every evening. He is very knowledgeable and his work is fast and clean. He also guaranties his work. He kept me informed about when he would be doing the work, especially based on the current situation with the quarantine. I would most definitely recommend Darryl

He took the time to ensure the job was done correctly so that we would have no issues with our roof being replaced. The cleanup and removal of the discarded brick after the job was very good. We would recommend Daryl to others.

I would highly recommend Daryl and his nephew, Darrell for any masonry work. I was very pleased the quality of their work and communication while on the job. Daryl takes great pride in what he does and it shows. The scope of this project consisted of: -replaced 11 limestone window sills and 2 large headers -bricked in 1 door and 2 windows -enlarged 3 windows -removed and repaired chimney -tuck pointing -installed new bricks If an issue was discovered while on the job, Daryl would fix it without additional cost. He knows how to do a job properly and thoroughly through to completion. I look for, and notice “the details.” That is the level to which their work is carried out. They were also very respectful of my property, as well as my neighbour’s property. The site was cleaned and the mess was taken away. We hired Daryl to repair our chimney which was falling apart and to replace the brick with stone in front exterior of the house. Daryl and his team has exceeded our expectations in every way. We were having difficulty finding the matching brick so he saved and cleaned enough from the front demolition for the chimney repair and future needs. Daryl helped us with every step of construction including deciding with type of stone, colour and style. He is patient, respectful and the best in his stone laying skills. He never rushed to just finish the job , every stone had to be placed with perfection. He made sure that our vision of the end product was met. He is reasonably priced and educated us of all the different options we had with stone selection. We will definitely recommend him to all of our family and friends. We found Daryl from homestar with good review. After a phone call and Daryl came onsite very quickly to assess the work to be done on the bricks wall. He explained what needs to be done now and what can be waited. He was very honest that you won't find nowaday. His price is fair compared with others companies and once commenced work can be started, John and James came and completed the work within two days. Darly was onesite to verify and ensured work were completed at our satisfaction. Excellent work and well done. We contacted Daryl after we purchased our home and needed some masonry work. Daryl came and assessed the work to be done. What we appreciated about Daryl was he took his time explaining the work and he educated us. He was honest something that you don't always find these days when working with contractors. He explained what work was necessary and what things we could do later. Daryl and his son did the job in a timely manner and cleaned up after the job.
