My wife originally went to Homestars and found a different repair shop but we were told by that company we were too far away (they in Toronto, we in Oakville). However, the best thing they did was recommend Rick at AC Repair to us. Rick is a very quiet but dedicated individual. We talked to him and asked him to come out and diagnose what was wrong with our refrigerator. He actually figured out what the problem was over the phone but came and showed us the problem. He gave us two options -- to replace the part... or lubricate it / clean it as best as possible and let it be, as the appliance was over a dozen years old. Unfortunately, we should have replaced the part while he was there as several days later, the refrigerator part gave up the ghost. The fridge started heating up again. In a panic we called Rick and he re-arranged his schedule on a Saturday night to come over and save the day! It was a lesson well learned -- trust the expert! We used Rick one last time a week or so later when a storm blew out a capacitor on our A/C unit, the night before friends were coming over on a very hot summer weekend. We called Rick on Saturday morning and once again, he somehow accommodated us to fix the problem. He is a life saver! Rick is mentoring his son who is following in his dad's footsteps. That young man is in good hands. Rick is a caring person, something you do not expect in his industry. He is honest and truthful, hard-working and helpful. My family cannot express how much we recommend Rick and A/C Appliance Repair.

I like Rick because he is very professional. He is good in detecting the problem and his service fees is very reasonable. I always called him if I need his services. I would highly recommend him.

After the Etobicoke flood, my washer & dryer were ruined. Rick came out the day I called, checked my appliances, took photos for the insurance company and the appliances were condemned. Today my new washer & dryer arrived. I called Rick and he came out within an hour or so. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend AC Appliance Repair.

Rick came the day after our call and quickly diagnosed the problem with our dishwasher which was a broken grinder. He had a replacement part in his truck. We were pleased with the repair plus part charge and would definately recommend him. .

Rick had done great work for us before, so we called him again to repair our dishwasher. As usual he was prompt, polite got to the root of the problem right away and fixed it quickly, despite having to drive out to buy a replacement motor. We highly recommend Rick to anyone needing appliance repair, because he is professional, fair, does a great job and leaves an impeccable worksite behind. Thanks Rick.

I had purchased a washing machine from a major department store 4 years ago and when we needed a repair done, I was told by them that the first technician would be available in 2 weeks time. Clearly that wasn't going to work for us! I found AC Appliance on HomeStars and Rick was in our house the very next day and had the part for the repair by the following day. He was fast, efficient, polite and professional. 12 days later the department store technician arrived at my door because they had neglected to tell him that I'd cancelled my service request! So - call Rick first time!

Rick was fast, punctual and super polite. He diagnosed our problem very quickly, even without us having the history of the fridge (we just moved in), and was in and out before our freezer food could melt. Extra mention for his concern for our floor before pulling the fridge out (no worries, the wheels were clean!).

I just wanted to tell everyone who happy and satisfied I was with AC Appliance Repair. They were able to accomodate my schedule by coming on a Saturday at no extra cost and were very reasonably priced. Rick was patient and understanding by answering all my questions and got the job done very quickly and with great results. I will definitely recommend AC Appliance to my friends and family.
