relocating of shelves, installation of disabled shower bars. After an unfortunate experience, a second technician was sent out and did an exemplary job.

General fix ups and changing electrical fixtures

I just had a number of different jobs that needed fixing. I am a senior and my balance has been off lately making it hard to fix things in high places. Dave was able to set up all my smoke ditectors , change ceiling fan, change a light fixture, and hang some fixtures on outside of house etc. All work was well done. I will defi use this service again when needed and would recommend to other people. Ask for Dave.

Kitchen Island sink repair, switch change for bedroom, little tube connection at the back of fridge.

The work was done fast and efficient and he wasted no time and started the work almost right away as soon as he got the details. Although I did let them know ahead of time on what needed to be done to my sink which had fallen out of the socket and lost its supports and silicone caulking and the only thing that was supporting the sink was the plumbing which is not a good thing. He repaired it perfectly and fixed a switch and fixed the tub on the back of my fridge. I highly recommend this company if you have many things that you need to be done in one day as it comes out cheaper if you have more than one thing to repair. Remember it costs 200 dollars to just come.... so if you want many things in one day it works out cheaper. like 500 dollars. Something like that.

Tighten up the kitchen faucet installed in July

Using his own tool to tighten the faucet as it was loose - claimed that the original work was using the kit provided by the product which caused the issue

    Ceiling repairs

Leak from roof space had stained the living room ceiling and had damaged the basement ceiling which part of it had fallen down. Gord patched the basement and painted it, and had also sprayed the living room stain to remove the stain. Both ceilings now look " back to normal ". Job was satisfactory.

Installation of a bathroom grab bar.

Although this was a very small job, it was given the same attention to detail that would have been given to a large job. We were 100% satisfied and would be happy to recommend Mr. Handyman for any job.m2n 6h8

    OK Organization to work with

They do great work, that is there best attribute. However, I have experienced a few times cancelled appointments which puts a damper on the quality work. If this was corrected, the experience would be a 10/10.

    Above ground pool installation

I was quoted $3500 to level my backyard and install the pool. On the day the job was to start I was told they forgot to add something in so now my $1,000 pool was going to be $4500 to install. We decided to just put it up on my unlevel ground. However, took a week to complete and was put up with filter facing the house instead of away from view.

    Eavestrough downspout extension

I wanted one of my downspouts extended with a special hinge that allows you to lift up the extension so you can cut the grass that the pipe is covering. After calling a few eavestrough companies, they had never heard of this zip hinge method, and because they considered it a small job they either did not return my call or told me they couldn't be bothered, which is really disappointing as far as customer service is very important in a large market as the G.T.A. When I called Mr. Handyman they were very responsive to my request and sent out an estimator who said he could obtain the hinge kit and complete the job. Vytas was very knowledgeable and had no problem completing the job after he had ordered the necessary materials. I am very satisfied with the job and would not hesitate to use Mr. Handyman of York region again. These other companies that do not want to do a small job don't seem to realise that a small job can often lead to a much bigger job at a later date. Thank you Vytas for your great customer service!
