We hired National Star based on their strong track record of reviews and they did not disappoint. They are a family run business and they took their reputation and workmanship seriously. They finished our roofing project ahead of schedule and cleaned up well afterwards. They stand by their work with a 15 year warranty, so we are quite confident in the job. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

National Star Roofing provided exceptional service, workmanship and product ! The same group of talented tradesmen work on your roof ( no subcontractors therefore excellent quality control . They went above and beyond their scope of work by showing my husband on the roof the extra precautions they took to mitigate water and venting; they took pictures of their speedy progress and took lunch when I requested so I could have a little rest on my lunch hour on my long 14 hour work day. They cleaned up the site each day and asked my neighbours permission to go on their property to clean up the stuff that blew in the wind to their property. They were extremely professional, courteous and polite. I have had numerous reno's done in my home from top to bottom. I now choose work done based on reviews. National Star Roofing has a 5 star rating year after year, and they totally earned that on my roof ! I highly recommend them and my roof is stunning.

I chose National Star based on the excellent reviews both on Home Stars and the BBB site. I was not disappointed. The owner Sokol offers very professional and efficient service - the roof was replaced by his work crew in one day, two days after I received the quote. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable, the quote was more than fair for the product and service received. I would not hesitate to recommend National Star to anyone looking for a trustworthy company that exceeds expectations.

We used National Star Roofing by way of recommendation, and it soon became apparent that it was fully deserved. Sokol met with us to discuss the work required and was very helpful and professional. Once the work was started we were impressed by the thoroughness and attention to detail that the crew showed. The clean up was amazing, and also very thorough. Thank you for such a great job!

I was worried about selecting a roofing company. I am so glad I chose National Star. Got the work done in the summer and I have no regrets after all these months. Amazing work. They are an incredible group of workers with integrity, and who take pride in their work. Rare to find now a days where the mighty buck is all people think of. These guys are true professionals. One could see from start to finish they treated the entire job as if they were doing their own home. Their attention to details was very good. Including metal work done around the chimney, skylight and some quirky corners which hadn't been properly done by previous company. They even replaced furnace vent which was damaged and not properly installed and painted the metal to properly blend in with the roof. They did an amazing job cleaning up. I still haven't found a single nail or piece of debris. The materials they used are very high quality. Their shingles are amazingly strong and sturdy. The house has now gone through rain, hail and snow and the shingles are holding up great. I haven't found any leaks and the roof edge metal they put in is also holding up great. The shingles were laid beautifully. There are no weird crooked lines. They will take you (if you ask) through each step of their work so you know what they are doing. The issues they find and how they are addressed. In the end they take you through all the work and show you what was done. They are very fast and on time and the price was exactly as quoted These guys are very professional, they care about their work. They do not cut corners. I would recommend them in an instant. National Star (Sokol) was excellent. They provided a speedy and accurate quote, with clear information about things that would work and would just be a waste of money. Everything happened very quickly - from the delivery of supplies, to the removal of the old shakes, to the installation of the new roof with underlay. Yet, each night, when I returned home from work, I could see considerable progress - and yet no debris. The site was always incredibly clean. And, afterward, I found no nails or sharp objects on which I or my dog could cut ourselves. Their products are not the cheapest on the market; but I like both their and the manufacturers' warranties. I feel confident that this roof will last for decades. I am very happy with all the work they did, and I would highly recommend this company.

National Star Roofing did a great job replacing the shingles on my house. I have a busy work schedule and was not able to be home while the work was being completed but they kept me up to speed with the progress of the work by sending me pictures via text messege. It was a very pleasant experience working with National Star Roofing. I would recomend them to any of my friends or family. Thanks National Star Roofing.
