    Low pitch roof

    These guys did an excellent job on our unusual low pitch flat roof. They took the time to go up on the roof and measure the pitch exactly so the proper roofing material could be determined. They also fixed an issue with a sagging beam that was discovered in the attic once the roof was removed. Prompt courteous professional and always replied to requests for information. Sokol send me text updates all through the project as I was in another Province at the time. Very highly recommended.

    Roof Replacement

    The team at National Star Roofing provided quality and professional work for our roof replacement. Sokol consulted with us more than once to ensure we were fully informed about the products available and what the replacement would entail. He provided piece of mind before any work even started. His team was efficient before, during and after the work was completed, especially in cleaning the area around the house. They were very thorough. Sokol even took the time afterwards to show us how the finished work would provide the safety and security that a roof should provide. Overall, the experience with National Star Roofing was excellent. They are genuine, honest, friendly and clearly take pride in the work they do!

    Roof replacement

    National Star completed my house and garage roof replacement in one day with spotless cleanup. Quality of workmanship better than work done by other companies on neighbouring houses. Two years later, they replaced a broken rooftop exhaust vent at no charge - an original vent that National Star hadn't even installed. Very impressed with this company and would recommend without hesitation.

    Hi Jonah. We appreciate the nice words. We did complete your project in a day because of the long nice days Calgary summer gifts us. There is only a six month window we can do roofing. No matter how long, we make sure the job is done correctly so we don't have to come back. Regarding the furnace vent cap, with all the hail and wind thru the years they are bound to break and fly off. Although it is not directly connected with the roof, it was a simple fix. The reason for not charging you was because of the two referrals you sent our way, which we really appreciate. You and any client of ours should feel free to contact us if they need anything.

    Great work and customer service

    Before I went with National Star Roofing, I got three quotes from top-rated roofers in Homestars. Sokol was fast to respond. When he came to do the quote, he brought the baseline documentation I had expected (business license, insurance policy, etc.—companies don't always provide this unless you make a point of asking), explained the differences between the shingle samples and various options, and promptly provided me with two different proposals, both of which beat the two other quotes I got. (BTW, I don't recall exactly what I paid, but I recall it being under $10,000.) They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and got the work done quickly. As they did the work, Sokol messaged me pictures so I could see their progress and to confirm that the things we agreed to were being done. They left the site clean. Several months after the work was completed, he sent me a text to check that we were still happy with their work. I chose this company mostly for their low price and high ratings. But I'd choose them again because of their customer service too.

    Shingled roof

    Shingled roof in 2008 and was and still am, very pleased with the work done. However, what impressed me recently was my insurance company requested a copy of invoice going back to 2008. I contacted National Star and within minutes they emailed me back a copy. Nowadays that is a rarity.

    Great work for a great price!!

    I hired National Star to change out our shingles and we could not be happier. Their customer service is second to none, and they were quick and tidy completing the job in just one day. It was also nice that they have a truck to haul away the waste and not a bin that takes up your driveway for multiple days. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend them.

    Hail Damage Roofing Restoration

    National Star replaced our garage roof in 2017, so when an August hail storm hit in 2018 and damaged both our home and garage, we knew who to call. Thankfully, Sokol and his team moved MUCH faster than our insurance company, and their assessments even helped us to get a greater payout for items that hadn't been included in the insurance contractor's estimates. We contacted National Star on a Friday and by the following Monday they were on site with a big crew and all the materials they needed to replace AND make improvements to the house roof and garage roof in ONE day. Sokol: we greatly appreciate your transparency, urgency, and quality. We hope we don't have to work with you again soon...but if we need anything, we certainly know who to call!

    National Star Roofing removed my pine shakes and replaced them with quality shingles in 2014

    National Star Roofing did my neighbors roof in 2014 as I recall. The reason I called them in the first place was their tidiness. When they did his roof they were neat tidy and punctual, they never left a single nail in the yard or any where else. This was an exceptional trade. I could list all the reasons to use them(punctual, clean, neat and presentable workers, its a family business and all the workers were related and the list goes on). this year, 5 years later I had a squirrel problem and I called Sokol on a Friday evening just at the front end of this cold weather and he came on the Saturday. He treated this job as an important as the major job I had done 5 years earlier. I believe the location of the entry was located and repaired that day. This is an amazing company that stands behind their work and I highly recommend you use them for your roofing needs. No cost for return visit after 5 years Russ

    re-shingle of house and garage

    organized, professional , and hard working - kept us informed on all the discoveries of problems that go with an old roof - fixed everything needed including broken sheathing and old flashing - great workmanship - we'd definitely use them again
