After extensive research and a few different quotes, we chose to work with Jerry an Stairs4u based on a combination of reviews and competitive price. Our job was quite large and took a full week to rip out our existing carpeting and laminate and replace it with new modern laminate including new 5” baseboards. They also completely replaced the stairs, railings, and pickets from our outdated honey oak/carpeted ones with new, solid oak stairs. After looking at numerous colour samples, we finally settled on a deep grey stain and love it in contrast with the floors and paint colours. It feels like we are in a brand new house (we did a complete top to bottom paint job)! I couldn’t be more happy. Despite being sometimes difficult to reach or schedule time, this would be the only area that could be improved but if every client is as high maintenance as me, that would be challenging to do. LOL. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable, competitive price.

Jerry and his team did an amazing job on our 30+ yrs old basement stairs. Doing business was simple. Two onsite visits at my residence for ideas and measurements. After, we met at his shop to select a rail, post, and to confirm the remaining final details. The installation was on time and nothing was left unresolved. They look amazing! Highly recommended.

Contacted Jerry we had a quote, he than stopped by measured things up , we went to the store picked out our pickets . He matched our stain colour to our new floors . They started our stairs earlier than thought which was awesome and in three days we have beautiful stairs and there clean up was also amazing! Thanks Jerry and the team!

We were referred to Stairs 4 U by a number of family members who utilized their services for staircase renovations. From day one, we received excellent service from Jerry who worked with us on every detail of how we wanted our home to look/feel. They had many great flooring options, pickets, posts, and stair set ups. We got exactly what we were looking for - modern, dark, engineered hardwood floors, that totally made our open concept 2nd floor living space, and 3rd floor bedrooms, feel even larger! Beautiful wide baseboards. And the piece-de-resistance: staircases that made us feel like we were in a model home!!! They took just over a week to get all of the work done. Every time we stopped by the house we were in awe of just how amazing our house was looking - and in the end we were blown away to know that this is our house that we will get to enjoy for many years to come!
