Column replacement
Like many in Ajax, the column on our front porch was rotting at the bottom. The team at Remodel Construction replaced it with a fibreglass column. Coordinating the project was easy and the work was completed as promised. They left the site clean and did a nice job.

repair of downstairs bathroom from waterdamage. Fixing all the seams of the upstairs shower and bathtub witth new silicone. Replacing lock of sunroom sliding door.
All work was done promptly and to entire satisfaction. The renovations done 14 and 17 years ago still all in tact and doing very well. Have been more than satisfied with the work and recommend the company highly.

Bathroom Renovation
We converted our daughter's small, cramped, out-dated stand-up shower to a bath-tub. Chris and his team from Remodel Construction were excellent. Communication was top notch and we were always kept in the loop regards to the progress and timelines. The crew were extremely professional and a delight to work with. They kept the house very clean and cleaned up after themselves daily. We are very happy with the work and final result. We are thrilled with the renovation. We would highly recommend them for any renovations. We will definitely use them again for other work we had planned in our house.

Deck correction
Two years ago our deck became uneven due to severe frost. The uneveness was an eyesore. We then used the services of Remodel Construction to rectify the problem. We are very happy with the work done.

Bathroom Reno
They were very neat and tidy and always cleaned up at the end of the day. As a blind person this was much appreciated so I didn't trip over any tools. Jay and Dexter were awesome workers and very polite.

Basement Drywall Repairs, Baseboard Installation and Door Repairs/Trimming
For (at least!) the third time, my husband and I turned to Chris and his team to help with a renovation project in our home. Once again, we were left thrilled with the results. Chris is a delight to work with, showing up on time when he makes appointments, providing accurate and fair itemized quotes and giving useful, practical advice that accommodates for different budgets. In this case, he and his team stepped in to fix our basement's botched drywall job (note: there are certain things you should always leave up to the pros and drywalling is one of them!), repaired and trimmed six doors in advance of carpet being installed and installed over 100 linear feet of new baseboards. The space looks great and we'll definitely be trusting Remodel again with future jobs. Chris, Tim and Dexter are superstars who I can't recommend enough!

Door and Deck Repair due to Leak
I contacted Chris at Remodel to assess some possible water damage coming into my walk-out basement apartment through the main door. Chris quickly assessed the damage and determined the french door needed to be taken out and water damaged areas replaced and the deck slope corrected. Rotten wood and brick molding was replaced, caulking removed from the bricks and rust treated on the steel intel. The french door was reinstalled complete with new PVC brick holding and exterior door frame painted - twice! Once the door was addressed, Chris adjusted the deck which was sloping toward the house, the main contributing factor of the leak. The deck posts were measured and installed with precision, and slope corrected - away from the house. The level of care and detail Chris and his team demonstrated was really assuring, they were prompt, efficient and made sure the area was thoroughly cleaned when they were done. I will definitely utilize Remodel again - I am very appreciative of the workmanship and professionalism of Chris and his team.

Basement and Laundry Room Reno
Our basement suffered a flood from the laundry room on the 2nd floor. Chris came to inspect our house, he was on time, wore the booties over his shoes and was very thorough and took his time to go over the details with us, the estimate was clear and completed in a timely manner. Upon our first meeting Remodel Construction was hired to repair the damages. They were really great to work with, Chris was always available for questions or requests. We were actually living in the home while they gutted one floor, but they made every effort to minimize disruptions and they kept the space very clean and tidy throughout the process. To be honest after a while, they started to feel like family. I would absolutely recommend to hire Remodel Construction, as they are awesome to work with and do a really great job. They are also extremely understanding and courteous to those of you who might have colourful family members. Thank you Chris and team!

Powder room renovation
Not only does Chris have high professional standards, but he and his team are a pleasure to work with. We wouldn't hesitate to hire him back.

Shower install
The crew did everything necessary to protect my furniture and freshly painted walls and ensured the floors were well covered.

We always cover our clients furniture with light plastic to catch dust during the renovation. Using heavy duty tank board (cardboard) to protect your floors is something else that we use to protect wood, porcelain floors during any renovation.
