Hi everyone. We’ve got a basement renovation project done by Dr.Rooter team of Oleg, Sasha and Igor- it was done with a respect to our property and with amazing detailing, as it was their own home! We are very thankful to them. The project included demolition, new drain system; framing; installation of tiles, toilet, sink also laminate floor installation and finishing. I would grade each category done as 10 of 10. The primary use of the space is office for my husband and it was important for us to be on budget and on time. Oleg lead the whole project himself. He managed excellently everything and he stuck to the initial invoice price and time frame. Having specialists in each area for us was perfect because they took so many troubles off our heads. They made it very easy for us… No question, we would keep Dr. Rooter contact number for any project we need in the future and highly, highly, recommend Dr.Rooter

I had an underground leak from the valve on the driveway. Steve from Dr Rooter called me within 5 minutes of my service request. When he arrived the next day to look at the problem, he explained the repair process to me thoroughly. I was impressed with his responsiveness and I appreciated him doing the job in a timely fashion as he promised. I signed him up to the required repair the next week. During the job we had a couple minor issues but his employee, Igor, was great and came back the next morning to address the minor issues. Thanks to Steve and Igor, great job. I would highly recommend them.

We had water seeping into out basement. The guys arrived quickly, got the money, and supposedly waterproofed the basement with a guarantee. A couple of months later, water seeped into the basement again. 20 phone calls and messages about the guarantee, no one has shown up to help us, or fix the problem. Very disappointing. What a waste of money!

I needed to waterproof the foundation from one side as there was a crack as well as gap between door sill and the foundation. I contacted several companies on Homestars. They all came in with different quotes and methods. But Oleg from Dr Rooter was really fantastic, knowing his job well as well as offered to start work soon, which I needed to have a peace of mind. I was really happy and satisfied with him getting to the job fast and done well. They all finished the work on time, cleaned up nicely. It was really nice to work with him and he was always available to talk and cleared any doubt or questions I had. Indeed a pleasure to work with him.

During last year's heavy rainfall we, like many people, experienced basement leakage. As luck would have it we spotted Dr. Rooter's van parked in our neighbourhood and gave them a call. We couldn't believe that we had reached a person on our first try and were not met with an automated voice message bouncing us around. Stephen responded to our call and was out to assess the problem within 24 hours. Once at our home he located the problem and provided us with options and a quote. From the time we placed our initial call to the time it was fixed took less than one week. Since that time we have trusted Steven and his crew to handle various other plumbing issues and have Dr. Rooter on our speed dial. They are trustworthy, knowledgable and reliable. Their assessment was accurate their work was excellent, not to mention clean and reasonably priced; all the things one hopes for. Do yourselves a favour and give them a call. Sincerely Marg & Frank

A crack in my basement wall allowed melt water and rain water to seep in and pool on the floor. The basement is unfinished, but I wanted the water issue solved before we finish it. Steve contacted me right away and gave me a price, then came and did a site visit. I got an official quote that specified the work to be conducted and the terms. While we were out in the driveway discussing things, a neighbour of mine came over and asked for Steve's advice (saw Steve's company car in driveway). Steve was more than happy to answer all of my neighbour's questions and give advice. The Rooter guys ended up digging an 8 foot long trench that went down to the basement footing, and then a 3 layer waterproofing system after grinding out the crack and filling it with cement. This is February and these two guys dug this manually using shovels. Unbelievable. It took about 8 hours for them to dig the hole, repair the crack, waterproof and fill the hole back in. Definitely worth it. I don't imagine I'll have any issues with water looking at the effort that went into the waterproofing, but if I do there's a 20 year warranty on the work. There were some minor issues with timing, but those were all my fault (my roof was pouring water directly onto the workers during a snow melt), but Steve kept me in the loop at all times. Highly recommend these guys.

I was looking to re-do the bathroom and was overwhelmed with the myriad of choices. But then finally the guys from Dr. Rooter showed me a design that I really liked and that was actually fitting my budget. And voila, I have a beautiful new bathroom! They cleaned up after the work was done, I really appreciate that. Thanks guys :-D

I had to waterproof my house last year. Called Steve and he came in and gave me a quote. They did the job. It's been over a year since that issue and they have come back 4 other times to come in and fix the issue because there was still water coming in. No matter how many times I called Steve or Oleg, they would return my calls and assure me they would fix the issue. What I like is they take ownership if there is a mistake. They stand behind their 25 year guaranteed warranty and most of all, they are good honest people. I always want to deal with good people. Hopefully the issue has been resolved and if not, I know I can call Oleg and it will get done right!

I called Dr Rooter and they gave me the best price for the job, they even came out the same day. They were very professional and fixed the issue. First they showed us the problems with the camera, then they snaked the drain to clear the roots. I will definitely use them in the future! A++

Dr Rooter did a full drain remake at my home. I was impressed with the quality of service. All the employees were very professional and extremely polite. They completed the job in a timely manner. As promised everything was finished within 3 days. They left everything very clean. Even after finishing the job Yuriy called me to make sure I was happy with the services. Everything is working very well. I can definitely recommend.
