Called Jay out of the blue this winter when I was not happy with the service we received last year. Jay delivered in spades...and I would recommend him to anyone considering his services.

I had a great experience with Green Side Up. Jay was very friendly and professional. His pricing was great, and the quality of the work was top notch. I would definitely recommend them for your landscape and property maintenance needs.

Green Side Up has been doing our landscaping and yard maintenance for over 7 years now and we are very please with all the work they have done for us. Jason and his company have always done a great job for us. The people who work for him are both competent and pleasant and winning combination. They look after our property all year round but are tremendous with the spring and fall clean up... we have 15 maples and plenty of leaves! I hired Green Side up to do my snow removal. I have a very long driveway and snow removal is complicated. Jay has been very helpful with the problems that I encountered. Even so far as to do an emergency snow removal for my pregnant daughter (different address) who was trapped during one of the snow storms this winter. Jay has kept me informed as to pending weather conditions, and has been easy to communicate with. I found his pricing to be fair, and his attitude positive.

I purchased a fairly old home two years prior to deciding that I was going to transform my weed invested back into a place where my daughter and two dogs could actually enjoy. I came across Green Side Up through a friend who uses them to look after their property in Aurora. It was in September of 2012 when I reached out to Jay. I had finally had some money saved and now I wanted my back yard transformed!! The timing was going to be tight as we were approaching the end of the season. Jay met with me to discuss the drawing I had created. Jay had made several small suggestions to the plans and I'm happy that I took his suggestions. We finalized the drawing, decided on material, talked about the cost and established a time line all within one week of our initial meeting. Green Side Up built me a large patio, a play ground area (using tiny stones) a dog run, two small gardens and brick cover over my BBQ. They also planted a few shrubs and some perennials in the two small gardens. Because of the massive amount of weeds, Jay said he was going to dig a little deeper into the ground, adding more of that crushed stone and put down this black cloth. He showed me the cloth which had steel fibers in it and I myself wasn't able to rip it apart. He showed me another type of this cloth and explained that many of his competitors use that which I could easily rip. This cloth is used to help prevent the weeds from coming through the stones. Jay and his guys were very polite and they did great work. The price was the final price - no surprises at the end! I believe this company is full of integrity, doesn't cut corners and I would highly recommend using them. We are looking forward to enjoying a full summer in our back yard in 2013!!

We are very satisfied with the service which Jay Saveall and his team has provided my husband and I over the past three years. My husband and I getting older and realized that we could no longer maintain the up keep of our property which concerned us both as my husband is a perfectionist. We have just over and acre of lawn plus an area with approximately 25 large maple trees. Green Side Up has been very reliable, they do an excellent job and Leo hasn't moaned once!! Jay is a very honest man, and the people that work for him are very nice. Jay provides us with the option to spread our payments out of twelve months which also makes it easier for us. Over the past three years our price has not increased which is also very important to us. We are extremely happy with Jays services and would highly recommend Green Side Up. I just hope he doesn't get out of the business anytime soon!!

I don't even know where to begin. I've been having my property (and private road) cleared for 9 years now. I met Jay this year and was totally taken in by not only his personality but his complete professionalism. I could go on for days about how amazing he and his service are...but I won't. Do yourself the biggest favour you could ever imagine. HIRE THIS GUY (and his team). It will be the best money you ever spent (and saved by the way) and you can rest assured that it will be done correctly every time. Jay...you're the best I've ever come across and I hope everyone that reads this takes my advice and gives you the opportunity you richly deserve. I really wish I could give you more than a "10"!

We hired Jay in October because he was offering a great winter package. In the interim, we decided to move. We had to switch our contract as we were only going to be there half the season. He not only willingly change it but gave us a free plow when there was an unexpected snowfall and we were out of the house. Highly recommend.

When Jay asked me if I would be willing to write a review on the work Green Side Up did around my pool this past summer I was delighted! I found out about Green Side Up through a neighbour who had their drive and walkway interlocked in 2011. They did an amazing job, and the house really stood out from the rest. We are in a fairly new community, my neighbour was the first to do any real landscaping and since then many others have followed suit, keeping the design similar to my neighbours. I mention this as the stone design of the driveway is truly beautiful. This was designed by the team at Green Side Up. My husband and I had met with three reputable landscaping companies including Green Side Up. Although Green Side Up were not the cheapest, they were the most professional and the most honest. We both picked up a very positive vibe from Jay and one of his guys when they came to scope out the project. It took several visits to our place for them to lock down a final design for our backyard and pool area, but they did it. Once the design was put together Jay came back once again to review it with my husband and I. We both liked the plan. At the same time Jay thoroughly went through the pricing with us and reviewed the project timeliness. Everything was documented on a contract including a diagram with the actual measurements. (we liked this part) We gave Jay the "A-okay" to proceed. The project which included 1,500 square feet of interlocking stone around the pool, two pathways and four small gardens made out of armour stone was projected to take three full weeks. Two installments were required. The first payment was for the cost of the material and was due when the material arrived, and the second payment was due when the project was completed. Although the project took four weeks due to some rain we received the project did stay on budget and we were able to enjoy the second half of the summer enjoying the work that was done by Green Side Up. Both my husband and I have received many compliments on our "back yard paradise" and we have passed along this companies name to many people.
