One morning to our surprise, the garage door would not respond to the remote button and we could not get the door open. This presented a problem for the car that was inside and for being able to take out the garbage that day. I searched Home Stars and found Garage Door Geeks who had many great reviews. I messaged them and Nazar wrote back on the same day, followed by a phone conversation. He came the next day to discuss two main options; either repair the spring and other mechanisms that had finally given way after many years and repair the existing door, or replace the motor and door. There were many styles to choose from for the doors and Nazar took the time to discuss all of these with a lot of very helpful information. I thought the replacement option was better because of the reasonable price and work turnaround time. Oleg came two days later with a new garage door and opener. He and a partner installed the new motor and door. They were professional, prompt, courteous and very clean. The installation of both the motor and the new door made it very obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing, especially because they had to make some concessions with the wiring due to the age of our 50+ year old home. They cleaned up perfectly at the end, making sure every tiny piece of hardware was collected from inside and outside the garage and swept everything so that the place was exactly as they found it when they arrived. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Garage Door Geeks. It was such a pleasure to deal with them from beginning to end. I am confident that if a problem should arise in the future, I would get just as immediate a response. It is evident that these gentlemen stand behind their work and products with the utmost integrity.

My 30 year old garage door opener finally gave out. I called Nazar who gave me a quote which I accepted and the job was done the next day. He did the installation quickly and cleaned up the site after. Then he explained how to maintain garage door hardware to keep the opener working well. He also helped me set up the remote operation from my vehicle. I am very pleased with the service.

I found this company by using google - did not even realize they were on Homestars until I asked, after they had completed the service. I am happy to see that they are getting the 10 rating. Very deserved. Nazar was the person who came - he was extremely polite. He actually was able to come a bit earlier than scheduled and called to see if that would be fine. Which i appreciated. When he arrived he took his time to ensure that everything i needed done was successful. He also took time and explained the mechanics of my door. So I learned some stuff as well. He changed some parts, and also readjusted the motor. The fees for the parts were very reasonable - as was the $60 that was charged for the service call. He made certain before he left that everything was in working order - and also let me know that if there were any issues he would come back. I had this repair done a few days ago - all is wonderful, and I kid you not when I say the door works better than it ever has since we purchased our house which was about 7 or 8 years ago. The guys arrived at the scheduled time and promptly installed the new garage door. They were personable, professional, and did excellent work. Would recommend them to anybody else, and use them again.

I have a very old garage... the old heavy door finally gave way and came crashing down. I called "Garage Door Geeks" and they came the very next day and put a new door on my beat up garage... They did a great job for less. I will recommend these guys to anyone needing repair or a new installation. Keep up the great works guys. :D

A neighbours car accidentally backed up into my garage door leaving it in pieces ... I needed to find a replacement door asap. Another neighbour of mine had used GDG in the past and was very satisfied with their work. We called Nazar and he promptly came over, assessed the situation, took measurements and offered us a few options. After deciding on the proper door, Nazar and Oleg returned the following day to do the installation. They installed the new (and much better) garage door quickly and cleanly ... they were even able to match the colour and pattern of the other (25 yr old) garage doors in the townhouse complex where I live. I found them to be very efficient, on time and on budget ... no surprises ! I highly recommend Nazar and GDG when it comes to garage doors and installation.
