    Replaced two mid effiency furnaces and installed garage heater

    Extremely impressed with the product knowledge, timeliness, professional installation. Left job site clean each day. Advised on progress. Did extra things like custom made chimney vent and on/off switch in garage for heater (in case of a problem - don't have to seek out the circuit breaker). Quick to respond to questions and a very through follow-up check by Nate on the work done. Feel relieved to have a good product and support if needed. Looking forward to winter.

    First Class Furnace and AC installation

    We met Nate, the owner, at the Home Show and his passion for HVAC was immediately apparent. He said his company would not be the cheapest. However, we were surprised to find when we went line by line through the three quotes we got and compared apples to apples, that Distinct's quote was the best for the top of the line equipment that we wanted. The installation was unhurried, as planned. The technicians, Landan and Jordan, were very friendly, professional, took great pride in their work and treated our property with complete respect. Even the City Inspector commented on how neat and tidy the job was!!!!! We greatly appreciate Nate taking the time after the installation was completed to review with us how the new system works and differences we might find going forward. We find the A/C Spring and Fall Checklist he gave us very helpful. We are extremely pleased .... it was money well spent!!!!!!

    Air conditioning install

    Nate and his team were simply great! The install is clean and tidy and the system is working really well. Nates team kept the job site neat and tidy throughout the whole process which is very appreciated since we have a young child. I will be recommending them to my friends forsure!

    A/C unit and furnace tune up

    professionalism and craftsmanship are at the top of their list .... right beside positive customer relationship , and respect for your house .... these guys are awesome , they should be your only choice when it comes to A/C and furnace installation or issues

    Air conditioning, humidifier and furnace.

    Extremely scientific approach to HVAC. Knowledgeable people. Responsive service. Pride in worksmanship. Very pleased with the finished product and the peace of mind of having a ten year warranty.

    Air conditioner installation

    I called Distinct for a free estimate due to the excellent reviews on homestar. We had Nate and company install an air conditioner and smart thermostat in our house. We were very impressed right from the time of the estimate. Nate obviously has a superior knowledge of air conditioning and spent a great deal of time reviewing our options. Though we paid a little more from his company, we felt his knowledge, customer service and attention to detail was worth it. After installation, he came back to our home to review the maintenance and daily use of the AC. He also had recommended a few upgrades such as a smart thermostat which I love! Nate's company was on time, reliable and professional. We have had no issues whatsoever and I look forward to a nice cool summer in my home. I highly recommend his company. His pride in ownership is apparent and he works hard to ensure the customer is satisfied.

    Furnace, humidifier and thermostat replacement

    Had a new furnace installed with new humidifier, 5 inch air filter and thermostat. Landon, Jordan and Christian came out to do the work. They were all very friendly, polite and very professional. The work was very meticulous and clean. Cleanup was likewise immaculate. Nate came by on both days and then came back so he could run through it again with me. Very accommodating. I would highly recommend Distinct Heating & Cooling.

    air conditioning and hot water tank

    So I never write reviews, but I will for this because I was so impressed with the outcome. I had gotten a bunch of quotes and Nate himself stood out from all of them. He came across as honest and very knowledgeable. His team were on time, there was extra unforeseen work that had to be done and he did not charge extra for it and was all done on the quote he originally provided. The finished work was better then I expected and cleaner then when they had started. I will definitely use them when I have any other needs. They are not the cheapest, but you definitely get all your moneys worth.

    Furnace, Air Conditioning Unit, Water Tank, Thermostat

    Distinct Heating & Cooling installed equipment (furnace, a/c unit) in our previous home. They also did an annual service, and a 5 year a/c cleaning. Very impressed with their technical knowledge, install and after sale service. Easily accessible via email, text, phone. Nate and his team also align themselves with credible trades (ie. 4Star Electric). We recently purchased a new/old home and required a new furnace, water tank, and wanted an a/c unit. Upon site inspection, Nate recommended we address the electrical. I went out to other electricians to confirm. It was confirmed this was the right direction. Distinct Heating & Cooling answered all my questions, even though it was not confirmed yet that they would receive the work. Nate recommended other contractors to consider for the electrical. They planned well; worked around our schedule; showed up on time; Distinct employees are professional, pleasant, and technically competent. They delivered. When I poked my head in where they were working, they were very good to explain what was taking place, along with what we could expect. Over the years I have seen Distinct Heating & Cooling add some very good people (internal customer-service and technicians). Well done! They were also clean. They took their boots off before entering our home and respected our property when bringing in equipment (I know this sounds trite, but we had trades walk through our home with soiled boots on). Distinct Heating & Cooling has always gone above and beyond what was quoted/expected. They are accessible. They align themselves with competent companies. It has been a pleasure.

    Yearly furnace inspection

    For 3 years in a row their technicians have shown up on time, look professional, very courteous & performed the service work while addressing any questions I had regarding my furnace. All had lovely personalities too! I highly recommend this company & look forward to their annual visit.
