    Move

    My move date was June 30, 2014 and I booked these guys over a month in advance (could have been closer to 2 months). I had a couple of conversations with them before the move and then just before the move date they asked me to fill out an inventory of my stuff. The night before the move I asked when they would be coming and they said between 9:00am and 9:30am. The next day they still had not shown up and I called around 10:15am (no answer). I then checked my email and see that they sent an email at around 8:33am indicating they were not going to show up. They claimed that a few of their workers never showed up. I tried calling them all day but they never answered their phone. I started calling around and after talking to reputable moving companies they said that a lot of companies purposely over book and then take the jobs that they think will be the most profitable (I guess that was what the inventory questionnaire was for). I am also still waiting for my deposit plus $150 like they claimed they would compensate me. I would never use these guys and 2 clients were also moving and I warned them about these guys. Steven Charles and the GTA Moving Guys will never see a dime from me or any friends, relatives, or clients if I can help it. Rob

As you can see you are the only person that has had a bad experience with us(and its real unfortunate, and we do apoligize). The questionare is to know what and how many supplies the job will require. We will gladly be refunding your deposit

    House Move

    The day of our move was pretty hectic as we had a same day closing as our buyers. GTA Moving Guys truly stepped up and worked as fast and efficiently as possible and we managed to have everything moved out by the evening so that the buyers could move into our home. They worked very hard and were extremely knowledgeable on organizing the furniture as well as how to secure the furniture. There were no mishaps or damages to any walls during the move. The guys were very friendly and co-operative. We truly appreciate all their hard work. We would recommend them for your next move and will also call them in the future if we move again. Pizza on us again guys!!

    Moving 2 bedroom condo

    Our experience with GTA Moving Guys was fantastic. We were very eager to move into our new condo and after our renos were completed, we had little time to secure movers. I had a pleasant interaction with Steve over the phone who was confident and was able to provide a quote quickly. I'd called around to about 5 other companies and the GTA Moving Guys had the lowest rates with the fewest conditions. They were running an hour late but let us know a few hours ahead of their scheduled arrival, which allowed us to make the necessary arrangements with our condo, and which ended up working in our favour. They were careful and courteous, always taking off their shoes inside, and were extremely careful while moving furniture and turning corners. There was no damaged property at all! The move was quick and there were no surprise charges. I would definitely use the GTA Moving Guys again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers in the GTA. Thank you to both Steve and Oleg for a painless move. :)

    Move

    I originally had scheduled GTA Moving Guys for the afternoon of June 1, but after some miscommunication within the management of my building, I was forced to move out earlier. After calling and explaining my situation, the company was extremely helpful and accommodating and were able to come at 7am to help me move. The two gentleman that came got right to work and took great care of all of my furniture and boxes. They were extremely friendly and helpful and were able to have my place emptied in a very short time. I am extremely grateful for their services, and will be using their services with any future moves. I highly recommend this company.

    Moving

    I had Shawn and Mike for my move. They were great. On time, fast (2.5 hours *including* about 1 hour travel, on a 1 bedroom move, with about 1.5 flights of stairs between the two ends of the move), courteous, called just before arriving, everything was well protected and nothing was damaged at all. Even the paint faired well in the tight corners (and there were a good few with this move). The company as a whole was very professional, no hidden fees and they sent a confirmation breaking down all the charges again little over a week before the move itself. It even had a picture of my moving team with their names.

    Moving

    GTA Moving Guys were very accommodating and professional. They picked up a table from my parents house, then came to the house we were moving out from, then made two trips to move everything out! They wrapped everything as needed, ensured all that was being moved was done so with care and no damages. They operated in a very timely fashion and simply made the overall experience easy. I would recommend them to anyone look for an efficient and successful move.

    1 bdrm to storage

    I had to move on a Sunday late evening. I was very happy they could accommodate me with my limited availability. Very impressed with how well my belongings were wrapped and protected for it extended stay in storage. Very friendly guys also. Thanks so much.

    packing and moving

    My husband and I hired this company to move our home and also do the packing because he works long hours and Im on mat leave but stull work from home. Needless to say that we didnt have the time. Packing day arrived they brought boxes and supplies. Our house was a mess of boxes and packing supplies. They had a little station set up on the dining room table. I was very impressed by their attention to detail. Personally I thought it was a bit excessive but you have to understand when your dealing with other people items day in day out, including expensive and priceless items, they wouldnt take any chances. Moving day arrived. They arrived 8am sharp in their big truck. Started their "pre-move prep" the proceeded to wrap and protect our furniture. They worked for 17 hours straight. We had to force them to stop and come eat pizza we bought them. This move went absolutely amazing. Everything arrived the same condition it was originally in. After all the items were off the truck they walked around with us to check for damages to our furniture and home. Absolutely flawless job. Well done. I am very happy I hired this company! Thank you Steve, your guys were fantastic.

    Second Move + Storage

    My daughter had used these guys to move from her condo to our home, did a fantastic job, so when it was time to move our family home naturally we chose to use them again. Moving day arrived, showed up on time, then proceeded to dismantle and wrap and protect our belongings. Absolutely everything was wrapped and stacked properly in the truck, i was so impressed,all the while engaging in joyful conversation amongst themselves and our family, but not slowing down the work. I might also add our town-home was 4 flights from basement to master, so this was not an easy move. The only thing that upset me about the day was my beloved couch could not fit through any of the doorway because we were moving into an older home. We had to leave it on our back porch but they made sure it was fully wrapped and protected from the elements. I have used their services quite a few times after to do some furniture arranging and some assembly work, excellent company and great work. Best regards with your company. Keep it the great work.

    I was sad for you that your couch could not fit as it is a nice sofa. Maybe a quick look around Homestars and you cold find someone who would be able to take out the window to be able the sofa inside.

    Home gym delivery and assembly

    I hired the "GTA Moving Guys" to pick up used home gym I had bought off kijiji for my soon to be coming home husband as a birthday present. They had to dismantle and the reassemble once at my house. From the start I was satisfied with their level of communication. Also their driver and helper were very friendly. They made sure it was reassembled properly and tested all the functions and gave a some quick lessons. All around a professional and nice group of guys. I wont hesitate to use their services again. Thanks again Steve and your crew.
