We noticed our neighbour had his backyard gate replaced by First Choice Fence and were impressed by the work and fairness of price so we approached them to quote on our gate which had also recently broken down. We also needed our deck and fence done and received a quote with a promise to start in mid-November which was 2 months away. Come early November we got the call and they showed up as promised. We are very pleased with all the work they did and highly recommend First Choice. They know what they are doing, had helpful suggestions, changes and special requests were handled without stress and they were a pleasure to work with.

I would recommend First Choice Fence wholeheartedly. Another company cancelled on us last minute, and we were desperate to get the fence done before the winter as no other company would work so late in the year. If you have ever tried to find someone to replace a "normal" size wood fence, you have run into the problem that it is typically too small a project for the major players. But one of the big companies put us in touch with First Choice Fence, one of their subcontractors. Pratema, co-owner with her husband, came to our home within 24 hours and gave us a full estimate on a replacement cedar fence 27 ft in length. We were given the option of having them remove the old cement-based posts or for them to leave these and create new post holes slightly offset. My neighbour and I however decided to remove the old cement ourselves (using a car jack) but couldn't get one of the 4 out of the ground. Although not called for in the agreement, First Choice workers did in fact remove the last piece at no additional cost to us, removed all the old wood and cement from the property, and had a new beautiful cedar fence up in a matter of hours. Our south fence is still standing but I expect it too will soon fall. However, if and when my south-side neighbour and I can agree that the replacement must be done, I will be strongly recommending we use First Choice for the major work.
