    Improvements & Repairs to Prepare for Sale

    I decided somewhat spontaneously to list my house for sale, my realtor giving me quite a to-do list in a very short time, and me not having a lot of experience or confidence in getting her list accomplished, I was pretty much in a panic. I found Mark on Homestars and, truly, I can't say enough about the great experience I had with Mark of Mr. Fix It. Not only was he able to accommodate my tight timeline, but also Mark just inspired confidence immediately-- apart from the obvious experienced professional he is, he's also calm and easy-going, patient, diligent, efficient, collaborative, and offered very useful and relevant advice and direction. I would (and will) recommend Mark to anyone (as will my realtor). He definitely earned his "10" with me!

    Kitchen and Bathroom Plumbing

    Mark could not have been more helpful, he did a great job with the faucets and sinks in bathroom and kitchen and willingly fitted the work in around my changing schedule. I'm very happy with the work he did and would not hesitate to recommend him.

    Weatherstripping, drywall repair, etc.

    Well worth the money. Mark worked efficiently and steadily, completing all jobs that had been on "the list" for weeks and months. He also helped me dodge a bullet by searching out reviews on a premium faucet I bought from Ikea. The reviews were so bad he recommended I return the faucet and get a better quality, more highly-reviewed brand. This kind of value and advice is very much appreciated.

    Changed kitchen faucet, installed ceiling fan, replaced plywood on furniture

    Mark responded quickly to our request online and installed a new kitchen faucet, installed ceiling fan and replaced plywood on our wall unit. We were very pleased with his work and professionalism. I would not hesitate to call him if you need handy work done in your home.     Various projects- plumbing/electrical

    I had a number of those jobs that I can never get to:) Mark came and had them all seen to in a short visit, and was very professional and thorough. I will have him back for a couple other other jobs. Very satisfied.

    Plumbing install & adjustment

    Mark removed two old faucets and installed new ones as well as adjusting a troublesome kitchen faucet. Response to request was prompt and quote accurate. Work was performed at scheduled time in a professional, courteous manner. Mark returned promptly to make an adjustment as the sink drain was not ideal - not his workmanship - old sink issue. He made sure the work was completed properly and offered to return again if required. I would not hesitate to use his service again and recommend him no question for any home handyman needs.

    installation of wall mounted pullup bar and bike hangers

    Great work. Very efficient. Friendly service. Punctual. Quick to respond to email enquiries and made an appointment in a timely manner. Would recommend Mark to anyone needing household work or repairs.

    Small condo projects - doors, shower silicone maintenance

    I would recommend Mark's services to all friends and family. He is very professional and he has done an excellent job on all the small home projects he has worked on. He always confirms before he goes ahead and does anything where he feels he needs your input.

    Handyman services

    I contacted Mark to do some small household repairs and he restored my faith in handymen. He was friendly, punctual, organized,tidy, capable and fair. What more could you ask for. I will be using Mark again and would absolutely recommend him to friends and family. Many thanks Mark.

    Various small jobs.

    I hired Mark to do various small jobs around the house. He soon discovered that the builder neglected to place an electrical junction box in the powder room (due to the position of the wall stud). Mark really went above and beyond in order to properly install a junction box, with minimal impact to the wall and stud. He is punctual, courteous and cleans up the work area after he's finished. I will be asking him to do some more work around our house in the near future. Very highly recommneded.
