House Review: Sept 2016: After the service and install of my shed, I decided to get quotes from fair and square on my house and attached garage, which were showing signs of wear and curling. Dominick provided me a list of options and went through each option, the pros and cons of the shingle manufacturer and shingle types. I went with malarkey legacy, as I preferred the look and durability for wind and hail, as well as 50 year non-prorated warranty. Dom had the crew drop shingles off at the roof, and let me know which day he was to start. Crew set up tarps and bin covering most of the yard and deck to capture the removal of old shingles. They started at 800am and went to about 800 pm completing the house roof removal of shingles and putting the new ones on. The second day they completed the garage and the smaller sub roofs adjoining the house and garage. I was very please with the workers on site, keeping it clean and staying busy. I was also pleased with the finished work, the addition of drip lines and HD capping, as well as new turbo vents installed to prevent earlier than normal roofing problems and I hope in the winter to prevent some of the fogging we get inside the windows. Dom says these vents are great, remove about 5 times the air of the old style square vents, have no moving parts and should last a lifetime.
Upon completion they did a double sweep of the entire yard for debris, nails etc, including the neighbors yards as well. A week later and I haven't found anything they missed picking up! Thank you and I highly recommend!
Shed Review: July 2016: "fair and square roofing" did a great job on roofing my rather large backyard shed. Dom called me in the morning to let me know when he would be there. He made a recommendation to have drip edges installed to extend the life of the roof. The shingles are straight on and look sharp. He finished the work quickly and cleaned up the area of any debris/nails before he left. Thanks Dom, will request you to re-roof my house soon!
