air conditioner leaks from third floor causing damage in three rooms in house on two levels- mold everywhere- smell, damage to walls, these guys were the most honest and most intelligent people I have ever seen. they got rid of everything and did it in a way that caused no mess in the house and were so honest. When I asked about the basement and if it had mold which was not covered by insurance they could have told me there was tons but in fact said there was not much. they really know their stuff

It had been more than a year since the flooding and the insurance adjuster had abandoned me so I found this company on the internet. They gave me a reasonable price and asked them to proceed. Steve had also thought that the insurance co was liable so they contacted them with the situation. In the end the ins paid. Steve and his crew did an excellent job of cleaning up and on time. Steve outlined our options and had our best inerest i mind throughout the entire process. We had a sewer pipe collapse causing sewer to come back up into our basement. They were recommended by the plumbing company we used. They came the next day to assess the damage and start the clean up process. The workers were all friendly and professional. They covered our upstairs floors to protect them as workers were coming in and out. They also coordinated everything with our insurance company.

I found Restoration 1 online. I didn't know anything about them, but I needed help for my Parents' home. It was very necessary for my Parents basement/cool room to be cleaned of the mould, for their health and safety. The whole room was cleared from top to bottom of anything that had to be removed (ceiling, walls, flooring) and the remaining studs and walls were scrubbed according to proper protocols. Steve Rosenbaum kept me updated via calls and mail regularly, and helped me deal with our insurance claim. Derrick did an outstanding job on site. Both my Parents were pleased with the clean up they provided. I am so greatful to both of these men. At that time my husband, our kids and I, were also busy relocating homes. Steve and Derrick were not just one more thing on my to do list. They were a pleasure to deal with. I thank them for making this process easier on me, and for being respectful and professional when updating my Parents and working within their home. As my senior parents said to me regularly during the process: "They are good guys!". One last thing that impressed me: The work was done this winter, with the worst of freezing temperatures, and the ice storms. Garbage was carried out to the big bin, taken away quickly and efficiently, and with no excuses. Icy ground or not, they showed up to work. Thank you guys, for getting it done!

Due to the recent ice storm my sump pumps were not working for 3- 4 days. prior to that, there was another overflow of water which resulted in a smelly basement with mold along the baseboards. My plumber referred me to Restoration 1. They came, assessed the problem and gave me a clear response as to what has to be done as well as provided an estimated costs. The work was given to them after receiving an estimate from another contractor. Restoration 1 came in with 4 persons worked diligently and professionally. After the work was completed, an independent assessment was made and I received a clean report. it is important to note that the Steve went further to keep in touch with any follow-up procedures. I would not hesitate to use their services in the future nor would hesitate to referring the company to others.

A pipe froze on the second floor above our work space. Restoration1 was called and immediately went to work that same night to extract the moisture and clean the affected area. This went on for 3 nights because of our work schedule. They will be the 1st company i call for anything like this in the future. Fast, clean, & professional. A dying art these days.
