duct cleaning and carpet cleaning
We booked through Home Depot. Had duct cleaning done in morning ($270). My main issue with this service is that the work done and equipment used is nothing like that shown in the video on Steam Dry's website. Vents are not covered, only high pressure air used at vents / nothing like shown in video, no inspection done of furnace or air exchange unit, some debris left in furnace area and around some vents, cheap furnace filter provided that I'd never use. Not very impressed with this service. Company recommended doing the ducts in the morning before the carpet cleaning.
Carpet cleaning was booked for 12-4pm window but truck eventually arrived at 4:17pm. Cleaning was completed around 5:45pm ($218). Carpets were still wet at 10:30pm which is unacceptable. Work done was acceptable... cleaner worked hard and did a good job. Lesson learned.. don't book carpet cleaning for an afternoon.
