    Call Rory first ....

    Do NOT commit your bathroom job to any other contractor without having invited Rory to quote. Because he is so good and does almost all the work himself, he is booked many months ahead, so call him early. We are very happy with our totally renovated main bathroom for many reasons. Yes, we are thrilled with the look and quality we chose. But our satisfaction is also very much about how we got there. We had 4 quotations from HomeStars stars, including Rory. From start to finish, he was fair & flexible, open & honest, committed & diligent, timely and tidy. For a very reasonable cost Rory did top quality work. We especially appreciated the ease and trust of having all dealings with and almost all work done by the owner. And for each of the trades -- tile layer, plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc -- Rory is a pro. Following completion, we had a couple of small concerns and Rory responded immediately. Thank you, Rory!!

    Bathroom renovation

    I am so happy with our new bathroom! Rory did a fantastic job and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was honest, clean, timely and made sure to give me status updates on progress and next steps. Our old bathroom needed a completely gut - it was dated, had gross bathroom fixtures and had minimal storage. Rory transformed my bathroom and we couldn’t be happier. I would recommend Rory in a heartbeat. Thanks Rory!

    This bathroom was very out dated and had the old builders brown colour theme going on. With a total gut and new white subway tile with the herringbone install, and a black hexagon floor tile, really gave it a nice fresh look we were going for.     Awesome!

    Rory finished renovating our bathroom last week. Both Rory and Nataya were very professional, on time, responsible, accommodating, prompt and responsive to our questions and concerns. We have no doubt we made the right choice in having Rory come do our bathroom renovation. Unlike other contractors who hire people to do the work, and whose skill and expertise you have no guarantee of (depending on the labour market), Rory is the owner/contractor/builder. You are assured of his expertise and diligence. He's been doing this for several years. Rory's a great guy, very responsible and thoughtful. We will need to renovate our other bathroom within the next 5 years, and we will for sure get Rory again.

    Kid's Bathroom Reno

    I found Rory on homestars and hired him to renovate the kid’s bathroom in our 100 year old house. It was a complete gut down to the studs. We swapped out the original claw foot tub for a shower/tub combo with a niche, and moved the location of all the fixtures for a more functional layout. We couldn't be happier with the result- it actually turned out better than I envisioned. Living through a renovation with a toddler isn't ideal, but everyday before Rory left, he meticulously cleaned the house so that it was safe for when our toddler came home from daycare. My husband and I were very impressed. I went with a herringbone pattern on the walls, which ended up adding a couple days to the job and to the cost, but this was all clearly outlined in the contract. No surprises and we are thrilled with the result. I am always a bit skeptical when I see only 5/5 star reviews on homestars, but I had a good feeling about Rory from our first meeting and went with it. He did not disappoint! My sister has already hired him to do her bathroom renovation next month. I wanted to add to his collection of great reviews, because this is where I found him.

    The original layout in this bathroom had made the space look a lot smaller and had a very awkward feel to it due to were the fixtures were placed. We gutted the bathroom and moved all the fixtures on the same wall and added a custom open shelving unit. In the end the layout became more functional and made the bathroom look a lot bigger by utilizing all the space we had. Love that herringbone pattern of the tile install.

    Two bathrooms

    Rory renovated two bathrooms for us - a master ensuite and a family bathroom. It was a major renovation that took almost 2 months. We were extremely happy with Rory’s work and recommend that you obtain a quote from Rory. Unlike many other contractors, Rory is the person quoting and doing the actual work. We initially had Rory in to quote and then put the project on hold due to some other work that came up. Rory never pressured us and was happy to work with us when we were ready to proceed.

    This renovation was one of the biggest jobs I have done. This house had a giant bathroom with a sauna and jacuzzi bath tub, which ate up a lot of space on the second floor, it also had a very small ensuite bathroom. The quote involved turning the old giant bathroom in to a 9x5 family bathroom and adding a bedroom, also extending the ensuite bathroom by a few feet to make it more functional. The end result was beautiful. The family bathroom has an amazing pattern for the floor tile which the client chose and looks beautiful. Ameera and Ethan have a good eye for colour and design. The ensuite bathroom has a huge walk in custom shower with a bench, the tile we installed was 24 by 48 for the walls in the marble Cerarra, and a black 12x12 hexagon for the floors. The added bedroom not only added value to the house but room for an extra family member in the near future. It was a pleasure taking on this job. Most bathrooms I do are a smaller size, but this job was a challenge with all the obstacles in place and the trouble shooting. I'm super happy with the result and I know the clients are too. Thank you ameera and Ethan for choosing us to do this Reno it was one I won't forget.

    Rory of Complete Bathrooms is a 100 out of 10

    Rory came highly recommend to us through 2 satisfied customers we know personally. From start to finish he did not disappoint. He was responsive, gave a very detailed quote and delivered an amazing bathroom on time and on budget. Rory and his team were amazing and I could not believe how clean the job site remained though-out the entire project. Rory takes pride in his work and it shows, the finishing details were impeccable, and these are things that matter to me . He was accommodating to the fact that this bathroom was in our rental property so went above and beyond with all parties involved. Our bathroom was finished beautifully and we couldn't be happier. Yes I would recommend Rory to anyone, anytime. Great working with you Rory!

    This bathroom was a small renovation, gut and re do, all fixtures were upgraded including a new window. This was one of the first renovations we did where the house had renters living in the house while we were renovating. We cleaned the house thoroughly everyday and the job went quickly without any delay. In the end the outcome was just what we were looking for, having a fully functional low maintenance bathroom that will last for a long time to come.     Rory Rocks!

    When we decided to finally renovate our circa 1950 main bathroom, we research contractors and received four quotes. This was a complete tear-down so we were dismayed to hear of the limitations placed on the desired size of the walk-in shower, among other things, by the first three contractors. Rory was the fourth company to provide a proposal and our every wish was considered and accommodated. His very competitive quote came in on budget, the job starting, and ending exactly as scheduled. Rory arrived every day on time and the quality of his work is second to none. Renovations can be very trying, but Rory and Naddy made it easy with their pleasantdemeanor, diligently cleaning up their work area before leaving each day.. We highly recommend Complete Bathrooms for your renovation needs.

    This house had all the original fixtures and tub from around the 1950s, with the old cast iron tub down to the original old radiator. We gutted the bathroom and re did the plumbing stack along with installing a new custom shower with the roller glass system, a new updated rad, and some recessed medicine cabinets for space saving. In the end we finished on time and on budget and the outcome was perfect. Thank you Cathy for your review and I hope you enjoy the new bathroom for years to come.

    Small minimalist bathroom

    Complete Bathrooms is a specialty contractor that we recommend that you include in your shortlist when you're ready to tackle your bathroom renovation project. Rory and his assistant recently renovated our main floor bathroom, and my husband and I are very happy with the results. It’s a straightforward project that required 2 weeks and 2 days to complete. They handled the surprises behind the wall and floor tiles very well. We appreciated how thorough Rory is with the paper work. He provided a good project description and quote several days after our initial appointment. Since we had to make additions and revisions to the renovation as a we got closer to the start date, he presented a revised project description and quote to ensure everything’s on paper. After doing the demo and found out he had to include more work, he presented us with the final project description and updated quote. We had a very good customer experience all throughout the process. We’re also impressed with their quality of workmanship and the cleanliness of the job site after each work day. Rory communicated well on the work progress, as well as issues that arose. He encouraged us to look around the job site and ask him questions. He even prompted us on homework we needed to do (e.g. choose grout and wall paint colours) so that he could proceed on certain tasks the following the day. Overall, the reviews posted before this mirrored our experience with Rory. We’re glad that his previous clients were more than willing to post their experiences and in a way, led us to contact him.

    This renovation was a small straight forward re and re job, removal of old existing fixtures and install new in the same spot. We upgraded the window with a single hung vinyl window and did a shower nice which turned out great. The floor tile was especially amazing as it had a pattern on every individual tile which had to be installed randomly. In the end we got the look we were going for and the clients were very happy with the outcome. Love that floor tile.

    Quoting Process

    We contacted Rory to provide us with a quote on two bathrooms as well as framing in a new bedroom. Rory was accommodating of our schedule and came to visit us quickly. He continuously followed up with us to let know when the quote would arrive. He was very thoughtful and professional. Unfortunately we have been surprised by some other work that needs to be done and have to put our bathrooms on hold at the moment. If you are reading this review, I highly recommend bringing Rory in to look at your project. He will spend the time to review and evaluate your project and not just glance at it like some others do.

    Complete Bathroom Renovation

    Rory came highly recommended by a family member and we had a chance to check out the quality of his work in advance. He did an on-time, on-budget job for us – a complete renovation of our master bath. Rory gave attention to all details, made useful suggestions, and accommodated some scheduling glitches caused by an outside supplier. We'll book him again for our next project.

    This renovation was a three week small bathroom job, we went from an old outdated ensuite bathroom with a bath tub, to a custom stand up shower with a glass roller system as the enclosure. We used a custom linear stainless steal drain for the shower floor which gave it a very nice finish that not to many people use. In the end the client got the finish she was looking for and was a pleasure to work for.
