    Furnace repair & various plumbing projects

    We found Cody on HomeStars when our furnace died a few years ago, and since then he has been a saviour multiple times for us - including repairing our furnace twice, replacing a bathtub faucet, installed a laundry sink, and repaired toilet plumbing. He is friendly and knowledgeable and gets the job done quickly and within our budget. I would highly recommend Cody for any of your plumbing and heating needs!!

    Faucet Change and Furnace Tune Up

    I sent a message to Cody last week with a few things I needed done at my place. I told him I was not in a hurry so this week would be fine to see me. He got back to me right away to set up an appointment for Patrick to come out Monday at 10:00am which was great for me. I picked up a bathroom faucet that I liked, on sale, at Homedepot over the weekend so it was ready to be installed on Monday. That was the first job and it was taken care of quickly and efficiently. I liked the fact that Patrick took great care in making sure everything was nice and clean. Then it was down to the furnace tune up. That to was taken care of quickly and efficiently. He also made sure my humidifier was working properly and answered my questions I had about that appliance too. I am waiting for a quote to remove the Poly B piping out of my home and I am sure I will have them do that for me when I decide to do it. Very pleased with the service from this company.

    Furnace Humidifer/plumbing

    Patrick came out to check out our humidifer on our furnace and got it up & running right away. He gave us some great information for future regarding our hot water tank in case of it going on what we should do if it does. He did some work on our toilets. I found him extremely polite and a very nice guy, he is honest and reliable and I found his price for the work done very reasonable...will be using this company for all of our future repairs/installs. Thanks again Patrick!! Btw ****I am in Calgary not Prince George..the appl will not let me change it****

    Toilet Repair

    Contacted CJL for a toilet repair / service request over Christmas, got promptly called back and the work done within 2 days. Our job was handled by Patrick - thanks for the friendly contact, fast service, competent job and fair price; we'll be getting back to CJL for any plumbing challenges we may encounter in the future for sure.

    While I didn't hire CJL, I was very impressed with the service

    I had a situation in my basement with a plumbing rough-in from a previous owner that was not permitted. I reached out for a quote to correct the rough-in with the correct permits as I was putting my house up for sale. I was extremely impressed by the fact that he did not try to upsell me with anything and, in fact, discouraged me from spending the money since I would be selling anyway. On top of that, he did a quick walk through of my basement and mechanical room and spotted a problem with my furnace. Even though my furnace was under warranty and he knew he would not get a job out of identifying the problem, he still went that extra mile. Hats off to CJL Plumbing - I will recommend and use their services in the future without hesitation.

    Waterline coupler replacement

    Cori was in and did the work quoted. When he arrived he found out that our line was bigger than standard and required parts he did not have. He quickly went out and got the parts, and stayed within the quote. Work was done well and he left things clean at the end.

    New toilet, and repair leaking pipes and shower cubicle

    We just bought an old house that came with a few leaks that needed further investigation (sink, shower cubicle and toilet), and we also wanted to replace a toilet. We chose CJL based on Homestars review, and are so glad that we did. Cody was prompt at returning messages, and arrived at exactly the scheduled time. He worked quickly and efficiently. The leaking toilet turned out to be something more - the very old pipe underneath the toilet was broken and needed to be replaced. To protect the bathroom floor, Cody suggested getting to it from the kitchen ceiling which was an idea we really appreciated. The jobs were all completed to an excellent standard, and the total cost was very good value. Cody left our home clean, and was very friendly. We highly recommend Cody and will use him for all plumbing jobs in the future.

    Furnace repairs and faucet replacement

    Great experience and stress free! Cody did a super job - he was very personable, obviously skillful and respectful of our home and time. Would most definitely hire him again and refer him to others. So glad for the Homestars site as well for helping to choose a contractor etc.

    Leaking garburator

    Got a frantic text from my tenant. The garburator was slowly leaking water under the sink. Crap, we just replaced the stupid dryer less than a month ago, now this!? Anyways, looked on Homestars, found CJL, and that blue Incredible Hulk company as top suggestions for a plumber. You'd think I'd go for the Blucredible Hulk plumbers, because I'm a bit of a comic book nerd, but in the end called CJL as we wanted to support the small guy. Plus I'm a DCU guy. I own a lot of comics, but not a single comic with the Incredible Hulk. CJL came to check the Garburator. It couldn't be fixed. Gave us a choice to replace with a new one, or remove the old one, and just plumb in a regular drain to the sink. I never liked having a garburator anyways, they eventually start to smell. Was really happy with CJL. Didn't feel like they were overcharging or trying to squeeze as much money as they could out of us. Would recommend.

    Installing low flow toilets

    Needed 2 toilets replaced with the low flow toilets that I had purchased. Cody was on time, polite, friendly, on budget and left our home spotless. He removed all garbage, packing material as well as the 2 old toilets. Cody did an awesome job and would have absolutely no problem recommending him to my family and friends. This is the second time we have used CJL plumbing and heating and this experience was just as good as the first time. Well done Cody and thanks again for the great experience
