    New Home Inspection

    Very satisfied! Chris was extremely helpful and thorough. Made the decision to buy my new home very easy. Also managed to get the seller to fix something before I bought it.

    Home inspection

    Did a very thorough inspection on the home I was selling - decided to hire him to inspect the home I was going to purchase - was very happy with the job that was done.

    Pre-Purchase House inspection

    Found Chris through HomeStars and called to request appointment availability and quote cost of home inspection. Found him friendly and quite knowledgeable on the phone. Upon house inspection he allowed us to walk through the inspection with him where he took ample photos and described the issues and some suggestions on repairs or replacements. He sent us the next day a very detailed electronic PDF report with photos and coded which were important, minor or no issues. We were able to renegotiate the house purchase price knowing the issues and bringing in contractors to provide estimates. We had a great experience with Chris and he followed up with us a few weeks later. I'd recommend his services to any house purchaser!

    House Inspection

    This house was the second home inspection Chris did for us and on both occasions he was very thorough. Also, at the end of both inspections, walked us through the issues and concerns he noticed in a concise and understandable way. And finally, the report, all 70 pages of it, arrived the same evening as the inspection. All in all excellent work! G K

    Home Inspection

    Chris completed the pre-purchase inspection of our first home. He was professional and performed a very detailed inspection. He also explained everything he was looking for as he went along. Even though the condo was relatively new, there were several minor repairs that needed to be done before we agreed to the purchase. Most of these things we likely would have overlooked had we not had Chris come to do the inspection for us. Highly recommended.

    home inspection

    Chris Thomson is the best inspector we would've ever found in the market, we were so lucky we were referred to him. He is detailed oriented and does not mind answering questions and even teaching you some tricks of the trade while the inspection is happening. He delivered a detailed and graphic report within 24 hours of the inspection.

    Home Inspection

    Chris performed a home inspection on a rural property in Maple Ridge. As a first time home buyer, I had no idea what to look for during an inspection, so it was great having Chris teach me the basics. It is important to note that the property I was purchasing had a septic tank system on its premises and Chris strongly advised that I bring in a septic tank specialist to inspect it. Following his advice, I hired a septic tank inspector and it was revealed that the entire septic tank system needed to be replaced. Using this information, I was able to negotiate $10,000 off of my purchase price. Therefore, I owe my $10,000 in savings to Chris' advice! I highly recommend that everyone use Chris for their home inspection.

    Home Inspection

    As a first-time home buyer, I was looking for a home inspector that could show me the ropes. Chris was very thorough and he was able to answer all of my questions. After spending an hour in the apartment, Chris was able to identify a handful of issues that needed to be addressed. Chris' detailed report put me at ease and I went ahead with purchasing this property–I move in this weekend! I highly recommend Chris at Haystack Home Inspections and I will be referring him to all of my friends and family.

    home inspection

    they did a comprehensive review of the home i have not purchased and gave me an excellent oral and written report. i was certainly satisfied and would recommend them for others.

    Home Inspecition

    Chris was very thorough and provided a full report of everything we needed to know about our home. He answered all of the questions we had and was patient. I highly recommend Chris as a home inspector.
