    Installation of a new air conditioning system

    My air conditioner had broken down for the second summer in a row. The company I had used for years seems to have fallen into disarray. They couldn't even get around to providing a quote. So I turned to Homestars where I found Tempasure. I spoke to Len. He came to my house the next day, inspected the furnace and air conditioning unit and suggested several alternative approaches. He followed up that very afternoon with quotes for the alternative approaches. I had told Len that I needed the repair done in a relatively short time, because I had guests coming the following week. I took a couple of days to consider the alternatives, and by the time I got back to Len it was Friday evening. Len contacted me on Saturday morning to say that his installers were booked up the following week, but one was prepared to work Sunday. I received a follow up email, confirming that the installer would be at my home between 10 a.m. and noon on Sunday. At about 10 a.m. on Sunday I received another email to tell me that Adam was on his way to my home. Adam was there by 10:30. Adam was friendly, efficient and took the time to point out what he had discovered when he dismantled the plenum, as well as a deviation from the original plan made necessary by the size of the new condenser. Adam had completed his work within four hours and our air conditioning was restored. All in all, it could not have been a better experience. The service level was the best I've ever encountered. They were highly responsive, communicated by email and telephone on a regular basis, and seemed committed to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction possible.

    New Furnace and AC

    It has been two weeks we have the American Standard furnace and AC replaced, it is so much quieter and running smoothly. The technicians (Adam) was extremely professional to deal with and have done the fantastic job installing while maintaining a clean environment. He has done so much addressing my concerns and answering my questions in order to make the right choice. I would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends.

    Air conditioning fix

    Tempasure responded to our weekend call for help immediately and booked a technician for a time as soon as possible in the week. The technician arrived at the start of the appointment time window. He carefully and quickly assessed the issue and competed the fix. He spent additional time to share root cause and tips.

    Air conditioner issue

    A/C stopped working on one of the hottest days of the year. Contacted Tempasure based on great ratings. Now I know why. Anthony came in about 30 minutes. Quickly figured out what was wrong and replaced a bad capacitor. (Showed us faulty part.) Received a call and text later in the day to make sure everything is ok. Will definitely use them for any future needs.

    Air Condtioner - ordered & installed new a/c unit

    After so many glowing recommendation, we had Len Minuk /Tempasure install a new air conditioner in our home today. Doing business with him and his technician, Anthony, was a total pleasure. In just 36 hours from the time I contacted him, he sent out Anthony to look at our old unit, gave us quotes on 2 different systems, ordered the one we wanted and had Anthony comeback today to work 10 hours straight to install everything. We are THRILLED with the service we received and highly recommend Len.

    AirCon failure diagnosis, replacement unit installation

    On return from vacation, noticed that AC barely delivered any cooling (I/O difference of less than 3C). Tempasure's technician Adam arrived on time, was courteous, very open with his diagnosis, let me watch everything. We both agreed that this 29 year old unit had no chance of a lasting repair (refrigerant leak, old R22 unit, etc.). Got a quote for a new unit. It was within expectation. Having seen Adam working, I had the confidence to accept the proposal. Within 24 hours, Adam was back. His installation job hit all the right notes: adherence to all code requirements, considerate with our property, clean work, explaining well what/why he does. I also have to praise the owner: Len. After he had cashed my cheque, I asked for an explanation of today's equivalent of the old CSA sticker. I received satisfactory evidence within minutes, even though at this point, it was pure nuisance to him. I can say that I recommend this company without any reservation. Can you save a few dollars elsewhere? It is possible. But you can't get better service and responsiveness.

    Air conditioner, furnace, water heater

    Our 19-year-old air conditioner died just as a heat wave hit in June. The large company from whom we rented a water heater and with whom we had an HVAC service contract was slow to provide a quote which, when it finally arrived, came with no information beyond cost and model number. I called Tempasure Heating and Air Conditioning because they had immaculate ratings across several platforms. Our odd and aging system (water heater/boiler with attached air handler and air conditioner set in a tiny townhouse utility room) always made service technicians groan in despair, but Len and Adam were both familiar with the set-up and offered us several solutions. The Tempasure quotes provided enough information that we could look up the proposed products and then ask Len endless questions which he answered patiently and thoroughly. In the end, we had the information and confidence to replace the old system with a new air conditioner, water heater, and traditional furnace. Adam installed the new system over two days—a Saturday and Sunday—and managed to disembowel and remove the old system and bring in the new equipment through the front door, across the off-white carpet on the main floor, down the narrow stairs to the tiny basement utility room without leaving a mark. In truth, he left the utility room in better shape than he found it. The new air conditioner is quiet, efficient, and powerful enough to cool even the 3rd floor. We are ridiculously pleased with ourselves for having found Tempasure and Len and Adam.

    Thermostat rewire and install

    We had an old home with the original wiring where the thermostat needed to be changed. We tried the DIY way first, which just didn't work. We called Temprasure to the rescue. Right from the first phone call I felt confident that Len and his team would get the job done. Len was easy to deal with and kept us well informed. Adam serviced the job and he was great. Very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable! He determined very quickly that there was a short in the wiring (which is why our DIY attempt failed) so he found a way to run a new thermostat wire (Thermostat had to be relocated) without any difficulty. No damage to the walls or to the finished ceiling in the basement! New thermostat (provided by them and included in the charges) installed and everything running like a charm! So happy to have found this company that still puts customer satisfaction first. 5 stars all the way! Thanks so much Temprasure!

    AC Replacement

    When your air conditioner breaks down mere days before you are hit by the first truly hot days of summer, you need Tempasure on speed-dial. We've dealt with them before (they helped us get another full year out of a unit we knew was on its last legs when we bought our house) and now wouldn't call anyone else. When we called them this time they were there within a day to assess the problem, and it was only a couple of days after that that the new AC was installed--and just in time for us to get a good night's sleep on a 30-degree day. Friendly, punctual, communicative and competitive. We hope not to need to call them again for some time, but if we have any other needs in the future they will definitely be our first phone call.

    Air conditioner repair

    The order was taken and we were advised that due to heavy volume (it was during the week that was) that due to commitments they would not be able to send a technician for a couple of days. We agreed. we received text and email messages telling us who was coming and what the window would be (a very short window I should add). The technician arrived precisely on time, diagnosed the problem, returned with the part and we were up and running. the charge was also very reasonable for the repair. I would certainly recommend Temp a sure.
