We've used Canada Waterproofers several times before and I would recommend them to anyone. From my first interaction with Slava 5 years ago, through to this one, they have proven themselves each time knowledgeable, punctual and trustworthy. Clearly, they care about the quality of their work. And finally, they are nice friendly people to have in your home. Slava even sent me pictures of the work as it happened, which was really interesting to see, so I got to see the roots that had cracked the sewer pipe and then the new pvc sewer going in and then the cleaned up finished floor. Here's my review, below, from 5 years before, so you can see how when a company doesn't gouge you but instead has nice smart people who do great work at fair prices, they win a loyal customer for the long haul. That first visit was free, but I remembered them for future plumbing work and now this time for drain replacement work. "Canada Waterproofers was the 4th company to come by our place to assess leaking in our basement. The previous visitors had suggested it might be a problem with our drains or foundation, both of which would entail costly repairs. After hearing my background of what we knew so far, in just minutes, Slava identified the real source of the problem, shining a flashlight into our furnace room and pointing out what no one else had noticed, that our furnace was leaking! When I was stunned at how quickly he'd figured it out, Slava mentioned that before he even knocked on the door, he'd looked at how close our gutters are to our neighbours' gutters and decided that water getting to the foundations was an unlikely cause of our problem, and so he was already investigating other possible sources. He also pointed out a tiny particle floating in the water, running west along the back wall toward my closet (where I'd thought the leak was). It was so clever and efficient that it reminded me of Sherlock Holmes explaining how he solved a mystery! I asked him how much we owed him and he laughed and said it was our free assessment. Wow! I would definitely call Canada Waterproofers if I ever needed waterproofing in the future, or recommend them to anyone else who needed it."

First of all Valentyn is a nice person and we used his services before. He is very good at assessing the problem (experienced), and easy to work with. He came at the appointment time and assessed the issue very quickly. He determined that cartridges needed replacing to fix the water issue. He went above and beyond to find cartridges as looked like faucet was discontinued. He was keeping posted while looking for parts. After receiving cartilages he worked hard to replace them. We are very happy finding Canada Waterproofers and Valentyn and would recommend them to anyone.

We found a leak in our laundry room. Val was very responsive and contacted me to quote the job. He came out and fixed it the same day. We would definitely use him again.

Val is perfect plumber who knows this business. He was quick and resolved the issue which other 2 plumbers failed to fix. Excellent job and nice to have him in my property. I will recommend him to all my friends. Its rare to get right plumber now a days, but now I have his contact.

We have found our new plumber. Valentin was communicative, punctual, personable, professional and above all, knows his trade well. In short order, he solved three separate plumbing problems that have been plaguing us, and we are grateful to Homestars for helping us discover him. .

Valentyn showed up on time to replace my kitchen faucet and snake out a clogged drain. (I poured some powder done the sink and it basically turned to cement). As it turned out, due to the multiple bends in the pipes and the garberator it was not possible to snake out the clog. Valentyn removed all the piping under the sink and streamlined it so that it would not clog in the future. He must have spent an extra 2 hours and only charged me a nominal additional amount. I will only use this company from now.

Requested quotes to replace the main water shut off valve which had a very slow leak. Valentyn was quick to respond and provided a price and date on which he would be able to do the work. Communication was very good with him providing confirmation of his arrival time earlier in the morning on the day the work was to be completed. Given the charge by the region of Halton to turn off the water to the house, it was certainly important to have the work completed that day and Valentyn's ongoing communication provided some comfort that would in fact be the case. We are pleased with the work and subsequent clean up and would not hesitate to recommend

Valentyn visited my house. He did a fantastic job for me. My shutoff tap for my garden was not closing. He spent a lot of time trying to open it but was not successful. Then he replaced it with a new tap. He was very patient , courteous and polite in his explanation to me. He explained in full details about the problem. Also when I asked him question in between the work he answered me politely. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and families. In fact Valentyn was recommended to me by one of our friends. Keep up the good job Valentyn and make your company feel proud about your work. Thank you.

Our toilet was leaking. Valentin came and fixed it. He is very polite and knowledgeable, it was very reasonable.It started leaking again, Val came back and fixed it immediately without charging anything. Great job up to the satisfaction.

Valentyn showed up right on time and was very accommodating. The price was much better than the other company I had talked to as well. He was very honest and knew his stuff. Finished job fast and cleaned after himself! Thank you!
