    Basement Renovation

    We met with Rob to discuss a basement renovation including a bathroom. From this first meeting and throughout the renovation, Rob was always available to answer any questions and keep us updated on the project. We are so impressed with his team who are friendly, respectful of our home, always on time and tidied up at the end of each day. Their workmanship with our renovation is outstanding. We are so happy with the beautiful basement that Rob and his team have created and would definitely recommend Rob's Quality Construction.

    Basement Renovation

    Done on time and on budget, the quality of work was excellent. Rob and his crew were friendly, respectful and hardworking. A very positive experience, I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again.

    Basement Renovation in Ancaster

    We are extremely pleased with the work that Rob and his crew did to finish our basement. Rob is a calm, patient and honest man. He listens carefully and responds to questions and concerns. He will make suggestions for design, materials, lighting, colours, etc. and will accompany you to the store to finalize a selection (many thanks Rob for helping us select a floor for our basement). If there is a lower cost way of doing something Rob will point it out. The scope of work and payment schedule are clearly stated in a contract that allows the homeowner to see what is included as well as the cost of any additional items not included in the contract. All work was done to schedule…often ahead of schedule. Workmanship was excellent. Rob’s crew cleaned up after each day. His crew is very knowledgeable and professional – Peter, Swavik, Kyle, Stephan, Eriko, Stanley, Ted and particularly Sam. Like Rob, his crew will answer your questions, invite comments and make suggestions to ensure you get the result you want. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail by everyone. I was most impressed by Rob’s willingness to go out of his way to address any issues or concerns. Rob and his crew are the first people I would call for any future renovation projects…we can’t thank you enough.

    Main floor reno

    Rob and his staff did an incredible job with our main floor Renovations my wife and I are so happy with the results we'd like to thank Rob and his knowledgeable and friendly team for doing such a great job. thank you Rob

    Finished Basement

    Previous to meeting Rob, we had many not so good experiences with contractors that had worked on various areas in and around the house, and so we were very careful with who we wanted to hire to finish our basement. We had met with a number of basement contractors (big and small companies), each with either too good to be true quotes, or outrages quotes that was over two times outside of our budget... and then we met Rob. Rob isn't the pushy salesman type that you get with some companies, nor is he just the dedicated sales rep who is just all about the numbers - all of which we had met before meeting Rob. Instead, Rob (owner of his company) is very knowledgeable and experienced with what he does. He will take the time to explain his work, what he and his team would and will do, and more importantly WHY it is done that way - everything he does is done to the current best practice building code. He worked together with us to realize a beautiful layout and finishing to our basement. He was always available to speak to us if we had any questions or concerns before and during the project. Rob has a very pleasant demeanour, focuses on top notch quality of work, and provide a great customer service. Before selecting Rob to do the work, our main concern was to make sure that the basement is done in such a way that we will never have to worry about mould or mildew down the road - which would be or should be the concern for anyone who has a young family. Rob understood this concern and assured us that he and his team does everything to code and that we will not have to worry about it. He estimated that it would take 5 weeks to complete the project, and that they will not rush to finish it sooner because he doesn't want to sacrifice the quality of his team's work - and in the end, I can see how and why it took 5 weeks to complete.. unlike some of the previous quotes we got before, which ranged from 2 weeks to 4 weeks.. I can't imagine what sort of cut corners they would had taken. Like Rob, his team are all very pleasant and engaging to talk to. He does outsource the plumbing and electrical to be done - both who are certified and also very nice and pleasant. We liked him and his team so much that we even referred them to our neighbour, who also signed with Rob to do their basement. Bottomline... Customer Service. Quality of workmanship. Reasonable time and cost. We are 100% satisfied with our basement and we would be more than happy to recommend him and his team to anyone and will for sure be using them for any future projects that we may have.

    Basement renovation

    Can't say enough good things about Rob! He initially REFUSED to do the reno on our 100+ year old basement, since he had concerns about the structural integrity and the floor. Instead of suggesting "quick fixes" like other contractors did, he encouraged us to ask around, bring in other experts, and then get back to him. We're so glad we took his thoughtful advice. After structural issues were addressed, Rob came back and gave us a fair quote. His team did the work efficiently. Every individual who came to our home was courteous, detail oriented, and skilled. Rob watched over the whole process carefully. He guided us professionally through the city permit and inspection process. He responded quickly and appropriately to every question we had. We now have a beautiful basement, delivered in a timely fashion, right on budget. It was a pleasure working with such an honest contractor. We give Rob and his team our highest recommendation.

    Kitchen and Bath renovation

    Rob’s Quality Construction and his crew have now completed two projects in our house. We wanted to find somebody who was local and began with our main bathroom. He finished on time and his quote was accurate. We worked very well with Rob and his crew to plan the details. The entire crew was respectful and courteous and the work area was always left clean when they completed work each day. We are very pleased with the outcome. We decided after our experience to hire Rob and his crew again to complete a major renovation of our main floor including taking down a wall, and making a more open concept living space. This also meant new kitchen design, paint, stone on fireplace, new fireplace, new trim, crown, laying hardwood on both the main floor and the upper floor in the hallway and all bedrooms. We also updated the laundry room and powder room. This also meant replacing the “old” style staircase with a new one. Because of the size of the job, we also hired an interior designer who designed the plan and Rob had to work with the designer and some of the designers’ contractors as well to complete the job as envisioned by the designer/client. He handled himself very professionally and we felt he always had our best interests in mind – speaking up when he needed to question certain decisions. We are very pleased with the outcome. The work that Rob and his crew completed was with great attention to detail and he did everything within his control to stay on his timeline and within budget. If we needed to reach Rob, he always returned our calls same day. We have recommended Rob and his crew to other people and would not hesitate to hire him again.

    Bathroom Renovation

    I cannot express how relieved my Wife and I are to have found a contractor you can actually trust. We have had several negative experiences throughout the years and are always fearful of either poor workmanship or not fully completing the job..... Rob and his crew are the best, we really appreciate how much Rob communicates exactly how the job will unfold, he and his crew were always on time every day and they were very friendly and informative, not to mention the bathroom is beautiful!. Rob is a man of his word.....period! This is a quality, unfortunately, that has been lost on most folks...but not Rob! Thank you, Rob! The Cottingham's

    Basement renovation

    Rob and his team did an amazing job completing our entire basement! They were very professional but still fun and easy to interact with and they got the job done within the timeframe (and budget!) we'd been quoted, despite a few last minute changes we made. They were able to tackle some of our more pressing needs (such as soundproofing the furnace area, doors and the ceiling to keep noise to a minimum), and even helped create a "hidey-hole play house" under the stairs for our two small girls (complete with a split door and window!) which we decided to do halfway through completion of the project! Rob and his team had many great suggestions to help us achieve our dream basement - from carpeting to lighting, doors to painting. Everyone was very nice, helpful and respectful of our home. We can't wait to hire them again to renovate our kitchen and main floor!

    Ensuite reno

    Well I really don’t know where to start. We had Rob and his team finish our basement last year. We loved the entire experience and the outcome. So this year when we decided to renovate our ensuite we decided to go with Rob again. Wonder why? Rob and his team had impressed us so much last year....they duplicated their performance again. The project went smoothly, on time and quality results. And where do you get a contractor that you don’t have to chase around but rather have fun with.....call Rob and his merry men!
