    Attic insulation removal and replacement due to mould

    EcoComfort Insulation & Contracting was a referral from PuroClean (another great company). We had a issue with mould in our entire attic due to an exhaust leading from our bathroom straight into the attic (and not being properly vented out the roof). EcoComfort's Vojtek came in and provided a very reasonable quote and Vojtek was very professional and knowledgeable. We scheduled a day for the insulation to be removed and another day to put the new insulation in (after the mould remediation by PuroClean). All of the members of the EcoComfort team (two the first time and three the second time) were very polite, professional and thorough. They took the time to explain what was going to be done and the benefits of the project taken on. I highly recommend EcoComfort and Vojtek's team. Thank you.

    Attic insulation

    Our attic insulation @ 50 plus - EcoComfort was on time, on budget, and cleaned up any residue once the job was completed. Heat now stays within the house MUCH longer, and in the summer will be cooler; savings is already noticeable. Great job, and pleasant to deal with... I would recommend them!

    Attic insulation

    Excellent work on time no surprises cleaned up after they finished would use again and would recommend to anyone looking for a job well done and without any surprises great work

    Insulation in lower and upper attics

    Wojtek was great at answering all my questions at the time of the initial quote. The 2 men who performed the installation put in baffles, cut out more holes for ventilation in soffit and installed new insulation in the upper and lower attics. They cleaned up when they were done. I would recommend this company.

    Top of attic insulation

    Work was completed in about 4 hours. Attic top up done with little fuss and smoothly. Removed blockages on the outside overhang to provide air circulation in attic. Clean up done to finish the job. Satisfied with the work.

    Attic insulation upgrade to R-60, re-connect bathroom fan, skylight insulation upgrade

    I had a problem, since I bought my house. The upstairs bedroom, especially on one side of the house, was always much colder than the downstairs in the winter, and hotter in the summer. My house is a few decades old, and based on the older building codes. The attic was insulated to a level below R-30, and possibly even R-20 as the insulation lost effectiveness over the decades. I suspected that the attic insulation was causing these problems. After searching for a company which had excellent reviews, I found Eco Comfort. Wojtek answered the phone when I called, and was able to explain in detail what his company does. I was able to provide sizing and other details on the phone, and received an estimate immediately. There were a few items I needed done, including properly connecting my bathroom fan, and straightening out the insulation around my skylight. Wojtek included these items in the very reasonable price. The crew of 3 men and a large truck, showed up exactly as scheduled, to the minute, on the day of the appointment. They quickly completed the work, within about two hours, on my small home. They provided photos as well. The job was completed to well above my expectations. The insulation gets blown in through a long hose, directly from the truck, to the attic. The crew took off their shoes inside the house, and even vacuumed up after they were finished. The job was done very cleanly, and this was much appreciated. They also took the time to explain what they were doing, and provided photos along the way. The night after the insulation upgrades, the upstairs bedrooms were much hotter than usual. Instead of setting the thermostat to 24 degrees, as we had been used to, we were able to set it down lower, on the next night. The temperature in the house is much more balanced now, and all the rooms feel more even. There is noticeable less temperature difference between the floors, and between the rooms. I'm very happy with the results, and as far as heating/cooling upgrades, this is the best possible value for the money spent. I would recommend this for anyone who is noticing a temperature difference between various rooms in the house, either too cold in the winter, or too hot in the summer.

    Excellent service from Wojtek, answered all my questions, worked around my schedule. The crew came out right on time and were very informative and courteous with our home and did a great job. Eco Comfort will be recommended.

    Attic Insulation

    Excellent Customer Service! Excellent Workmanship! I'm very satisfied with the work EcoComfort performed at my home. Wojtek was very prompt with the quote requested after he examined my attic. The quote was reasonable and there was no pressure from him to get the work done. The work team, Patrick and Mike, arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently and was very respectful of my home.     Attic insulation

    From the explanation on the task to the finish, it was great. They answered all the question and they worked on the job very well. After work, they cleaned the area and it was very professional. It has been a week since the attic insulation done, I feel difference. Before, it was cold at second floor. Now I feel almost same as first floor and I am very satisfied.

    Attic insulation top-up to R60+ with blown in cellulose insulation, Extend baffles, Replaced 3 bathroom fan ducts with insulated ducts and replaced hatch lid 2nd attic space with wood, insulate + air seal hatch

    We were extremely pleased with the service provided. I spoke to Voitek, he came out to the house immediately then followed up with an estimate. The cost was reasonable considering the amount of work needed. We booked an app't that very week, the Eco Comfort team were prompt, quick, efficient, very clean and professional. They did an amazing job and we noticed a huge difference in our home within 2 hrs of the work being completed. I can't wait to see my next heating bill to calculate the savings. We were freezing in our house and the bills were outrageous. Now we can walk around comfortably and not have to wear 2 layers of clothing. Thank you for all your hard work. I highly recommend Eco Comfort for all your insulation needs. They will not disappoint you, I'm sure. Thank you again.
