    holes in walls everywhere

    After the move i saw lots of small and big holes in the walls inside our new townhouse. the biggest hole measuring close to 3 inches, and some other ones being 1-1.5-2 inches. smaller dents are everywhere. had to get drywall repair at places and repaint the walls of almost the entire place. Same thing with where I moved out, i paid major amount of damage to my old landlord.

    Full house move

    Our third time using AMJ Campbell. Leo's crew was professional and personable. They cared about our belongings and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. It certainly took the stress out of a difficult situation.

    They damaged and had items missing

    Im extremely disapointed with AMJ and there affiliated Atlas. I had irreplaceable items missing afrer spending $5000. My advice choose someone else or film everything before loading to protect yourself. This is some of the damaged and taken tools.

    Destruction of my property

    Well you sent 3 movers to load my stuff into the truck but by the time the truck got to my house we had one mover who broke my fan damaged my TV unit damaged my bed broke so many dishes and I can't even get you guys to call me back it's the worst company it's better that you go get 1 of those fires off of A-pole that says 2 man in a Van you do a lot better with this Destroyed my antler I'm pretty sure his name was Tyrell he was a really great guy unfortunately I don't know how you expected him to lift things like big a** 400 pound wall units by himself Really sucks I could only put up one picture because I have a lot not sure of cost so

    Moving

    Amazing packers and movers. Cheerful, hard working, efficient...it was the best move I have ever had. Cheers to Shawn and Dave (move) and the Caras crew (packing). They were fantastic. I recommend them and AMJ to anyone moving.

    Movers

    Frustrated, we had great difficulty getting clarification on the billing. It took several months to get credit for the first stage of the move (our stuff went into storage). The move to our second location went reasonably well, however, we were again overcharged, and it's now been 5 months and we can't get a reply from them. Avoid AMJ Campbell Barrie!

    They take no responsibility for any damages that they cause

    Movers refused to move my bed into my house unless I signed a waiver saying that they are not responsible if they damage the bed or my house. Isn't the purpose of paying for movers to have professionals that do not damage your property? Now that I see their reviews I am not surprised that they average less than 50% positivity in their reviews.

    4+ months without our belongings

    Hired AMJ to move our belongings from Canada to the UK at the beginning of June. The movers who showed up to take our belongings were great, but the company is terrible! All communication stopped after they took our things. A month after we arrived in the UK we emailed to ask how much longer it would be and they hadn't even shipped anything yet! Turns out they were waiting on more documents - we had all the documents, but they never asked us for anything! They just let our stuff sit there instead of informing us that they needed more from us. We sent them everything they needed and thought that was that sorted. More months pass, and finally we get an email from their UK shipping partner saying that they never received any documents from AMJ and that we'll be charged rent for our goods if they don't receive them! So we rush to send the same documents to the shipping partner hoping that's THAT sorted. Even more time passes and then the shipping partner tells us that, documents aside, it took so long to unload our belongings at port anyway that it incurred even more fees, and that AMJ told them to pass the fees onto us! We already paid AMJ, but now this other company is asking for even more money, and telling us we won't get our belongings until we pay them. It feels like we're being extorted! We complained to AMJ, but they're just ignoring our emails now. Worst of all is that we're coming up on four months now without any of our furniture or other belongings!

    Move from vancouver to calgary

    We were very disappointed with the company. Ten years ago we used them to move from Florida to Vancouver. It was a perfect move with only a small nick in a table which was repaired immediately. There were four men including a very experienced driver. What a difference ten years makes! Two young women showed late to pack. One didnt speak English so any box she packed was marked kitchenware or master bedroom. Some of the boxes were over packed and too heavy resulting in breakage. When the driver finally showed up at our new home he was alone. He explained he had three jobs that day and the other men were coming. He unpacked alone for 11/2 hours. Two exhausted men finally showed up. So with no protection for brand new carpeting it took 6 hours to unload a 2 bedroom apartment. The master bed was not put together for 3 days as it took that amount of time to find the hardware for the bed. The company demanded payment within 24 hours and would not look at complaints or claims until payment was made. The one positive in this move is full compensation was made within two weeks. I assume they must payout claims on a regular basis and probably assume they are still making a profit. However this doesnt make up for two months of stress and sleepless nights. I will never recommend Campbell again!

    Missing item and bad Customer Service

    Lost my son's Lego Millenium Falcon in the original shipping box worth $899 plus tax and shipping. It was loaded in the mover's truck carried by the truck driver himself, the driver inquired what's in the box although the shipping box has big bold Lego printed on it. The Lego didn't reach the destination which is our new house. My wife phoned customer service and the answer we always get is it's not in the truck. Of course you won't find it in the truck because it was taken and was not delivered. I will never recommend this mover to anybody.
