    Great work on a new roof

    After reading reviews at HomeStars, I obtained quotes from the top four rated roofing companies in Ottawa. Excel Building & Roofing won the contract as their price was slightly lower than the rest, they were able to complete the job before any of the other companies, and they were the top rated company in Ottawa. The project manager made an extra trip to our house to help us choose the color and he sent us to other nearby homes they had completed so we could actually see the colors installed on a house. The crew was courteous and they worked very hard in the extreme heat. They also wore safety harnesses anchored to the roof while working. They kept me up to date with their progress, they cleaned up when they were finished. and the roof looks great. My neighbors also commented to me afterwards about how quiet the crew was. No loud music, excessive yelling etc that we have experienced from other roofing companies working in the neighborhood. I am happy with our choice to have Excel Building and Roofing replace our roof. I would certainly recommend.

    Friendly and Thorough

    The team did a great job, and did not take too long to do it. They were very efficient, and everything was cleaned up when they were done. Very strong service.

    Replaced Roof

    It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Excel Building & Roofing. They provided friendly and efficient service in a hassle-free manner. Very pleased with the job and the fact that the yard was left spotless. Denis A

    Roof replacement

    From beginning to end the entire process was seemless ! I had gotten a few quotes before Excel Building and Roofing came by. The price and warranty offered were unmatched by the competition for a superior product. The job was completed in one day and aside from a beautiful new roof, you could not tell that work had been done . They took the time to clean and place everything back were it was. Im very happy with my decision to use Excel Building and Roofing

    Roofing

    I was very impressed by EXcel roofing they did a great job and left no mess at all! I would definitely recommend! They were courteous, did the work on time and great quality!

    Great roofing job

    I had a new roof put on my double garage today. I was more than pleased with the crew and the finished product, not to mention the efficient and pleasant manner in which the job was completed.     Shingle replacement - full roof

    We just finished a job with Excel and they were efficient and incredibly professional. They came completely prepared and with a full crew to work and they got the job done as quickly as possible in very hot weather. The crew absolutely knew their line of work. Very professional work done. I would absolutely recommend Excel and I would use them again if I need any work done.

    New roof and sun tunnel

    Alex and his team are very professional. The crew that did the work was very polite, on time and was always ready to answer my questions. They cleaned up at the end of day one and at the end of the job, they made sure everything was clean and nail picked up. They also installed a sun tunnel and d’Ida great job.     New Roof Installation May 2020

    After seeing how professional and clean my neighbours’ residence roof replacement went (see John's review below), I decided to give Excel Building & Roofing a call. Alex answered my call and offered to stop by later that afternoon to provide me a quote. Alex was very helpful in explaining the process and answering my questions given it was my very first time having to replace a full roof. Furthermore, he was able to provide us with various addresses close to our address so that we could better “see” the different tile colours that we were interested in and provided his own recommendation as well (which in the end – he was spot on!). Alex was very efficient and friendly whenever we spoke, thank you Alex – we really appreciated this! The roofing crew were on site within the week after we signed our contract and the materials were delivered promptly. We had the same team that our neighbours’ had (Martin, Kevin and Cedrick) and you could not have asked for nicer gentlemen, they showed up each day on time, listened to my concerns (we have a pool in the backyard) and were simply amazing roofers as they installed our roof in 2 days. They ensured to cleanup at the end of each day even after a long day’s work on our roof. Overall my wife and I were completely satisfied with the entire process from Alex, through to install and then registration of our warranty. Look no further than Excel Building & Roofing for all of your roofing needs. They were fair with their price, provided quality work on their install and also were able to give us excellent customer service on all aspects of the job. Bravo and thank you!

    Roof replaced

    Our roof was replaced May 2020 and we could not be happier with the outcome. Professional services, and efficient. The job was completed as scheduled, communication with Alex was easy and seamless. Highly recommend.
