One thing I really liked about WindowRama is their way of doing business. Their style doesn't scream at me to buy their windows nor do they blow their own horn about how much money they make and how big their facilities are... all of which add to overhead which is then either passed onto the customer or otherwise absorbed (i.e. using cheap materials). The windows they installed were made by a smaller concern - so I wasn't paying for a lot of marketing either. They're good windows that WindowRama buys and then they install them for a reasonable cost. If you have an issue - you can call the owner who will go out of his way to make it right. I emailed WindowRama from the Homestars contact page and received a reply from Alexy (the owner) within 15 minutes and then a phone call within 30 minutes after that. I explained the current state of our windows and what I wanted to replace them with. Alexy listened, asked questions, and did not pressure me to do any upgrades. He sent me two estimates via email within an hour after we spoke on the phone. Both were reasonable and well within what i had found listed for other companies. I opted to just do the upstairs windows as my1st floor needs some prerequisite changes prior to getting new windows. Alexy and company kept me informed at every step along the way... When it was time to come measure, Todd (Alexy's associate) showed up on time and he was in and out in less than 10 minutes. When the windows were ordered, I got an email. When they were in production, I got an email. When they arrived at WindowRama, I got an email and a call to schedule the install. WindowRama's installer arrived on time. He came in, verified measurements, brought in only the tools he needed. Took care not to make a mess.. and cleaned up anything he did happen to do. Very polite "salt of the earth" type guy... who also happened to be a master at his trade - for nearly 30 years I believe. The work inside was the most rapid - it's the outside work that took the time. Every piece of window channel that the installer put up was hand cut, hand bent, and carefully installed. He was very quiet and very methodical. We hardly knew he was still out there working. The finished product was trimmed and channeled PROPERLY (by providing rain water an exit path, not by slapping on a thick bead of caulking against the siding). Once complete, we took a "grand tour" of all the windows so I could comment and view the work before we settled up the bill. I was very impressed by the work... especially when compared to our other replacement windows (which were done over 15 years ago using the thick bead of caulk method). Inside out the windows looked great, were installed with a fantastic degree of skill, and functioned the way I expected. Considering I opted for just the most basic of windows, I felt the WindowRama team took care of the whole process with the same degree of care and professionalism they'd offer for any level of window purchased. Kudos to Alexy for keeping it simple, but providing the things that count the most - Communication, skilled installation, and a reasonable cost. - As a side note - when I was talking to Todd about the installer (wish I could remember his name) - he told me that if I liked his window job, I oughtta see his siding work... I guess siding is where he really shows off his mad skills :-)

Fantastic! The company has stood behind everything they promised. Upon delivery, there were three windows that came in less than Windowrama felt was acceptable. They returned them to the manufacturer, and had the manufacturer send windows that met their standards. The windows are great. We already feel a huge difference in the inside temperature of our home. The windows were well insulated and the workers were very thorough to make sure the window openings were well seated and insulted with care. Even after we paid for the windows, they have been back several times to tweak little things so every window space has a great seal and any concerns addressed. In our opinion, Windowrama truly cares about their customers and shows this with their great service! I would buy from them again in a heartbeat if I have a need to purchase windows in the future.

Windowrama did an excellent job in having customized soundproofing windows made for us and shipped to us. The windows are of excellent quality and fit perfectly. They have eliminated the noise from our neighbor's dogs, loud cars, etc. Todd has been very professional and helpful throughout the entire process. We are giving our highest recommendation to anyone across the City that need soundproofing windows custom made and shipped to them. You can either install the windows yourself or have Windowrama install them. The entire process from measuring, price quote, manufacturing, shipment and installation went perfectly. It is very refreshing to deal with a person and company that is so honest, ethical and supportive.

Todd of Windowrama had the best estimate for our replacement windows. We chose Windowcity windows and sliding door with the Climatech glass for our house. The windows and door were approved for the government rebate. The installation took one day and went smoothly. The worksite was left clean. Todd came over the next day to adjust the sliding screen door and lock. Windowrama seems like a small company that provides quick response and good service. The already is already cooler on the second floor in the summer heat and hotter in winter. It will be nice also during the winter not to have to shrink wrap all the windows on the second floor now that these new windows are such an improvement.

The Sales Rep Alexy was very professional in knowing the value and cost of windows as we looked around the showroom, everyone in the office was very polite and professional also. The amazing person was the installer named Gary. He performed his job on the windows with the same compassion and professionalism I used to put into when I used to do windows. He made our house look great.

We selected Windowrama based on their Homestars rating, competitive prices, and their Owners/sales representative who we found personable, polite, and attentive to our needs. The windows were installed in September. The door was installed a few weeks later, but this was only because we took longer on deciding which door to get. The technicians (installers) were punctual, professional, and very polite. We thought their craftsmanship and work quality were very good.

Fantastic experience. Initially called another place and was told it would be 3-4 weeks before they could even come out. Called Windowrama and they came out within a day or two. They gave an estimate, scheduled and completed all work long before the first company said they could even stop out to give estimate. Price seemed very fair too. Workers did good job, were courteous and provided detailed invoice. Asked them re-work the screen on the slider, which they agreed without a fuss and corrected it. Will definitely make them my go-to glass place going forward (I'm a Realtor).

We have 14 windows in our home that were in need of once again being scraped and painted. It was task that we just didn't want to get into. Windowrama removed and installed all 14 windows and wrapped all the window trim in matching aluminum. There were a couple of windows that we were concerned about. These concerns were addressed prior to the work being done and the final product was exactly as explained.

We replaced 15 windows and a sliding glass door in our house. We debated between several different companys and brands of windows. We almost went with another company, but when Windowrama came to our house, Todd showed us the triple pane window which we really liked. He was very low key and NOT hard sell in his approach. The owner was personable, warm, and easy to talk to, and was trustworthy. Best of all, there was never a time in his presentation that he made us feel we had to go with his windows, he just shared the facts demonstrated the pros of the window, and we made our own judgements. The triple pane "Window City" window which had one of the best energy ratings is what we went with. The savings was great and the quality of the window was outstanding. Our old windows had lost the gas between the windows and fogged up frequently and what a joy it is now looking out through clear windows and knowing we are saving money on our cooling and heating bill!

As a physician, I know the value of a good night's sleep and have been struggling with street noise for years as I live on a quite loud streets in Ajax. It is without reservation that I recommend Andre and Todd and their Soundproof window treatments. From the first conversation I had with them, I found that they are very professional, knowledgeable and patient. The guys were ALWAYS available to talk and were there every step of the way. Their staff was utterly professional and worked tirelessly throughout the day to install my windows. They had great respect for my home and my cats. The windows worked magnificently and greatly reduced the street noise. I slept without earplugs for the first time in 5 years. After installation, Andre contacted me to assure that I was satisfied with the product and even came to my house to remove the upstairs windows so that I could reinstall my blinds (that I had asked Andre to remove). He even taught me how to fix my broken lamp. Way above and beyond the call of duty! It is without reservation that I recommend both Andre and Todd for their great service.
