Chad took the time to explain door options. Shop had lots of examples so we knew what we were getting.
Chad made an appointment to visit out house and brought large color samples with him that allowed us to choose the best color and door pattern. There was no rush, first contact to final door choice was close to 3 weeks. Chad never made us feel rushed.
When the big day came the installer, Brandon M, phone prior to showing up and arrived promptly after his call. Brandon explained the install process and started to work.
After a few hours Brandon called me into the garage with some bad news. I have a loft over the garage doors. While there was ample room for door springs the door top did not have sufficient clearance with respect to loft joists.
Brandon assisted me in trimming loft joints to get sufficient clearance for the door top. At one point Brandon called a co-work who showed up within 10 Minutes. Jason (I think) made some adjustments and one door works with no problem. Jason also tried a different type of top roller support but we found the original top roller support worked best.
There is still some work for me to do to ensure top of door clearance , I really feel this work is outside the scope of Brandon's install job.
Brandon completed installation and ensured everything was working correctly. I was given options on handles, foot rest and a lesson on lubing the door hardware. In addition Brandon gave me some great pointers on installing garage door openers.
All in all except for not noting there was insufficient clearance between loft joists and door the job went without a problem.
Checked install with lights out in the garage. There was not light leakage, so no air leakage, visible around the doors. Weather stripping was installed nice and tight.
Chad, Brandon and Justin were at all time professional and respectful of my new doors, my home and me.
Would use them again and suggest them to everyone.
And buy the way the doors look great, inside and out.
