    Service, garage door opener repair

    I called and spoke to Chad at Whitby Garage Doors about my garage door opener not working. He was very helpful and informative about my options. Within an hour a service technician (Brandon) arrived at my house and fixed the issue quickly. Brandon also performed a light tune-up on the door rails and springs to ensure the opener wouldn't be stressed opening and closing the door and therefore prevent a repeat of the problem. The final cost was exactly what I was quoted over the phone, no hidden or undisclosed fees. I would definitely use their services again and recommend them to others.

    Purchase and install - Garage Door Opener

    I contacted Whitby Garage Doors to inquire about their services and explained what type of product I was looking for and my expectations. Brandon was very professional and responded quickly with valuable advice and recommendations. Pricing was upfront, reasonable and stayed true to the end as I did several comparisons with the big box stores as well. The unit was purchased and installed directly by WGD. On appointment day, Jared arrived before schedule and was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept me informed throughout the entire process. Jared was a true professional and his passion was evident through his workmanship. He also took the initiative to lubricant my existing garage door for an even smoother performance. Jared removed the old unit along with the accessories (old sensors, wiring, support beams, etc.) and installed the new unit flawlessly. He provided a walk through on all associated functions and ensured my questions were answered. Jared was personable and endured my presence as I also had to do some simultaneous work which required me to be in and out of the garage as well. Fantastic service and outstanding crew and WGD will continue to be my go-to company for any future needs. WGD exceeded my expectations.

    Garage Door Opener Installation

    Hired Whitby Garage Doors to install our garage door opener. After great communication by phone and email beforehand, the install was done exceptionally well. Brandon came with all the appropriate equipment, was on time, and was finished in less than 2 hours. He had to deal with a storage shelf above the garage, and effectively cut out part so the opener was effectively installed. Would definitely recommend this company.

    New Garage Doors and Capping

    We just purchased a new home about a month ago and needed to replace the old tired looking doors, so I did some research and decided to go to Whitby Garage Doors show room and they had the exact one I had in mind on display, they set up an appointment and came and measured and ordered the doors and then yesterday they came and installed the new doors and we could not be happier with the way they turned out it made such a difference to the front of our home. Everyone was very friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Thank you guys for such a great job.

    Garage doors, openers and capping

    This was 1 of 3 companies that we had come and quote the change of our doors, openers and complete the capping. Chad came out and was so professional, made me feel at ease and did not pressure me for an instant decision. My husband and I visited the Whitby location and spoke to Brandon. He was also very professional and helpful. We chose this company over the other 2, not because of cost but because of the people they have working for them! The instal was completed timely and efficiently. We are very happy with the quality and of course the appearance of our doors. The capping was done so neatly. They took the time to slide it under the brick. We highly recommend them.

    I'm glad you are happy with our work. Capping around the frames of are one of our trademark looks. Most companies simply bend the aluminum and caulk all around the frame which at times looks messy. Robert, our capping specialist actually does a brick cut around the frame to get past all the old caulking and paint and we interest the aluminum into the brick and then wrap it around the frame giving your new doors and frames a beautiful new look.     Garage Door Installation

    I would highly recommend this company for the installation of garage doors. They were quick to quote and explained their quote in detail. They installed the door in the time frame in which they said they would. I found them to be very friendly, courteous and I was happy with the door and its installation.

    Service garage door

    It was a pleasant surprise to see Brandon come to service my garage door once again. When the Markham location could not accommodate me, they recommended I call their new Whitby location. Within half an hour, Brandon and Chad were at my door. As usual Brandon was very professional and obviously takes great pride in his workmanship. I would highly recommend Whitby Garage Doors to anyone who needs servicing or a new garage door.

    Garage Door Repair

    I am so happy to be leaving a review for Brandon and the Whitby garage Doors team. I needed a repair done on my garage door ASAP as a huge storm was coming and the door was stuck open. I emailed Brandon after hours and he got back to me within 30 minutes. He told me that he understood the urgency of my situation and could come first thing in the morning. True to his word, Brandon was in touch with me before 8am and was at my house less than 30 mins later. He was extremely knowledgable, friendly and professional. The door was fixed and reinforced in under an hour. Now my garage is safe and secure and hopefully storm proof lol. Thanks so much Brandon for making me a priority.     Garage Door Replacement

    These guys are awesome! We had an old metal swing out garage door from the 70's which needed replacing. We have a mezzanine right above the garage door and this other company told us we had to rip it down. Brandon came over and he said he would build a custom rail system and completely replace the aluminum around the garage door opening and the mezzanine could stay exactly where it was. A few weeks later after he ordered the door, his crew came and replaced everything as was quoted and cleaned up everything. I would highly recommend these guys.

    New Garage Door

    Highly recommend Whitby Garage Doors Ltd.! The service was excellent, and we are very happy with the products. Brandon went above and beyond to explain everything, walk through our neighbourhood and find examples of other doors that I liked, to help me with the selection process, and made very helpful recommendations. Jarred arrived as scheduled and did an excellent job with the removal of the old door, the installation of the new door and the installation of a new garage door opener. We had a unique requirement to maintain a light within the garage, and both Brandon and Jarred ensured that they addressed that requirement by ordering the correct frame to allow for clearance, and then double checking the measurements before installing. I don't believe, I've come across such personable, helpful individuals for home project work (Jarred even helped move a few small items out of the garage that needed to be moved before the work could begin, and then put everything back into the garage once everything was installed. These guys make a great team, so that your experience from start to finish is exceptional! Catherine Bourne
