Darryl and his team at Upanoak helped give my backyard literally new light with their amazing work pruning the trees in my yard. A very large Manitoba maple had a trunk removed and the rest of the tree was pruned and balanced out. The canopy is nice and high up now. A birch tree had all its dead wood removed. Darryl’s customer service was the best. Prompt response, quick to book the job date, professional team, and left a clean yard. I had many tree services come for a look, only half have a quote and Upanoak was definitely the most helpful. The best choice for arborists!

The arborists at Upanoak did a great job. Darryl had come by innitally and we discussed the issues with two trees. He came up with a fair quote, and was as prompt as possible with setting a date for the work. Two people came for the job, and the trees were pruned quickly and effectively. The backyard was cleaned up after including the small twigs. I'm very happy with the work. Everyone was friendly and professional.

I live in a place where there are multiple large trees (80cm+ diameter) on my property and I was worried that some of them are dying and branches may fall through the roof! So I started looking around, and that's where I found Upanoak. Darryl arrived a few minutes early for quote, which is rare for any contractor. He gave a survey of the land and provided very good suggestions on works to be done. I especially liked the fact that he did not suggest cutting down all 3 trees like others I've asked, but asked me to be cautious of the local regulations. I ended up choosing him over the other 2 I checked with. On the day of, Darryl's team arrived earlier than expected, and was very professional as they worked from 8:30AM to 6PM straight without much break to get the work complete, and I'm very happy about the results. Overall Darryl has been very responsive throughout the process, knows his stuff very well, and I feel it's a pleasure working with him. I will definitely hire him again for the future.

The job was completed professionally and beautifully! Darryl helped me prune one cherry, one mulberry, removed 2 stumps. The prune was sooo good! Both trees were at least 20 - 30 yrs old, but the previous owners didn't take much care of them. They just went crazy. The branches were a mess! Darryl and his team spend hours in a freezing morning (like minus 5 degree) to cutting off those messy ones. Tons of work! He climbed up high and hand-saw off some of them. The site was cleaned and restored nicely. Just fantastic! I would call him for every job from now on.

Darryl came out to do a quote for a major canopy reduction of a large tree in the backyard. He seemed very knowledgeable, honest and sincere, which gave us lots of confidence (we and 2 other neighbours who went in together on the job). His quote was more than reasonable compared to 2 other highly rated companies we spoke to. He provided a professional and detailed estimate, and arrived on time, as scheduled. The job was done exactly as described. He also did a really great job cleaning up. In fact, the yard were cleaner after they left than before they started. They pretty much did our fall cleanup :) We were also super impressed when Darryl pointed out that a fallen branch had made a minor crack in a patio stone. I could hardly see it when he pointed it out. He took responsibility for this and immediately gave back a partial refund for the minor damage. We're all very happy with the job that was done and would wholeheartedly recommend Darryl and Upanoak to everybody !

Darryl arrived as scheduled to give me an estimate to have 3 large maple trees pruned in our back yard. He was very knowledgeable and insightful as to how much should be pruned back. His quote was reasonable and fair. His crew showed up the following week and were conscientious and respectful. It was amazing to watch them at work. A dangerous job to say the least! They cleared all the debris and left the yard in perfect condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Upanoak!

If I could, I would rate Upanoak 12 stars instead of 10! Darryl and his crew came for two separate jobs over this summer season and one would never even know there were trees here before. One of the trees was a giant hideous Manitoba Maple, that belonged in a forest and not beside a house, and despite its size and proximity to hydro wires and both my house and my neighbours house, Darryl brought it down seemingly effortlessly. I cannot say enough good things about this company. Professional with all the right equipment and knowledge and skill....everything you could ask for. I highly recommend Upanoak for any and all of your tree work. Amazing experience,

Darryl and his team did an amazing job! Darryl was fast to come by for an estimate and had our tree removed the same day. Looking forward to having Upanoak help us with replacing this tree!
