We chatted with Darryl and explained what we needed. He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. His team came in and did the job perfectly and cleaned up so well you didnt know they were there. They went above and beyond and they will be our go to company in the future.

Darryl was very quick to come and give me a quote to remove a cedar that had been injured due to a heavy snowfall. His quote was fair and his team was able to come the next day to remove it. They worked quick and had the job done in less time than was quoted and he only charged me for the time worked. Very professional, personable and knowledgable. We will use Darryl's services again soon.

Im sure it wasnt a big job for Upanoak, but they came out to quote right away, and the job was completed the following week. The crew got the job done, with a pool in the way, and cleaned up as if they were never there. Darryl knows what hes doing and explained what had to be done. I would definitely recommend them!

Daryl came out and quoted on our job promptly. He was personable, knowledgeable, responsive and has the spider lift equipment (see attached pictures) to solve the problem. I had to make an emergency call recently after a 40-foot spruce in my backyard was uprooted by weight of snow and ended up leaning against my roof. Despite being busy with several storm calls, Darryl was able to come to the property and provide an estimate the same day, and book the job for three days later. The crew arrived on time and began setting up. They had intended to use a large crane to lift tree sections over my roof to the front yard but a careful assessment of the setup - putting safety above all - determined that the plan had to change. Using a spider-lift (a cool machine that was able to squeeze through a 34-inch gate opening), the tree was limbed and cut into smaller sections in the backyard and carried out front manually to be chipped. The work was done efficiently and the cleanup was thorough. The price was reasonable and Darryl even included some trimming of two other evergreens. He is friendly, provides detailed explanations and is great at problem-solving. Very satisfied, would use Upanoak again!

We were very pleased with the work that Darryl Stevenson and his team from UpAnOak Tree Care performed at our home. Professional, friendly and courteous from initial estimates through scheduling, set-up, execution and clean-up. They used an ingenious compact articulating spider lift to get access to trim a large backyard tree that was starting to get too close to the house. We would highly recommend this company to friends and neighbours and we would certainly use them again for any other tree maintenance work.

Darryl and his team arrived on time and proceeded to remove the tree in a safe and professional manner. The limb removal and clean up was thorough and complete. Great job at a reasonable price.

Had an emergency 72 hour order from the City to remove dangerous tree branches that fell on power lines to the house. I called at least a dozen companies and left voicemails with all of them. They either returned my call too late or not at all. Daryl from Upananoak Tree Care not only answered my call immediately, but also completely understood the urgency of the situation having experience dealing with City inspectors. I sent him pictures of the damage and I had a extremely reasonable quote within hours. They scheduled my appointment for the next morning! A whole team of personnel and vehicles arrived on time and had the work completed withing an hour. They cleaned up all the debris immaculately. In addition, there was follow-up correspondence. I have more work to be done in the near future and will not even consider any other company. Kudos!!

I was referred to Upanoak from a friend who was extremely happy with the tree removal services of this company! When I had a tree fall in my backyard, she highly recommended I contact Upanoak! When I met with Daryl the owner of the company, I could tell he was very knowledgeable, professional, personable and his quote was fair and less than another quote I had received. Him and his team were punctual, considerate, easy to communicate with and did an outstanding job removing a fallen tree, the debris and pruning overgrown vines from an upper balcony. I was extremely satisfied with the work they did and would definitely use them again if I needed this service and would as well recommend to friends.

Twice I've had Darryl out for service both times he did a great job and clean up. Last time he was here I asked for a magnolia tree...was told he would order it...its been 2 yrs..and I get no contact unless I email first...I was even told he forgot...I guess getting my money before was great but it's just a tree so he can just forget about me... Do I recommend..no way (I have 2 couples who need work done)...told them my complaint I originally picked him because he played ball w my son and love to help new businesses I feel unimportant Time to find someone reliable
